I will start :D

My name is Bren I hail from Australia and I am married to the most wonderful man who was raised in Manchester England. I have two children from a previous marriage. My daughter is married to an American from Boston and works along side my husband in our business. I came down with an ailment (I won't die from this ailment but it is one of those things that will be there for life unfortunately).
So I now work from home doing the office work and answering the phones.... which suits Scrappy and I too a T

My husband and I are in the midst of totally renovating an 1850 something cottage and enjoying the challenge of doing it all ourselves.

We are also keenly looking forward to the arrival of Scrappy's sister.

1850 SqFt? What is the addition and what room are you knocking or building?
It is always interesting when someone is making an addition to their house sounds like fun, we had contractors work on our basement where i stay and it is about 1400 sqFt
and they are HORRIBLE the worst job ever never will hire them again and it seems they have no idea what a calender date it or making their appointments!
but it must be a fun challenge since you and your husband will be working together.

A little about myself!

My name is Jadelynn people call me Jadey Jade or B***H :peace:
I am not married but feel like I am :D My boyfriend is super uber coolio fool :)
he is a year older then me but since im fat i look older
he is such a sweetheart! and sometimes he can be so wrong but it doesnt get to me... cause we been together for 6 years and deep inside i know im right, and we both know it

I live with my parents at the moment cause rent is free and they need me to run their business for a while, plus my babies have free babysitters when im out with my boyfriend.

I have no children :( only 4 beautiful maltese babies!
I remeber when my bison ran away after 8 years, i was heartbroken so my boyfriend told me he will get me a puppy, so we went to nyc and we had no idea about puppymill but he fell in love with donbi and she came home to live with us...
Now whats funny is i told my boyfriend that same day, i want 3 more.
he laughed and said okay we will see...
and guess what! i have 4 babies by the end of 2006

I will post pictures after my ideal weight
U know how the camera puts 10 extra pounds on or whatever
i feel as if its another body on mines :D HEHE
but i will also do a before and after picture!

As of now I work at my family business, and probably will go into teaching (pre or k) later on or get my masters.
and I am thinking of a 5th baby but not sure... about the breed :flowersm:
Maybe a shihtzu or another maltese but for sure I will be getting one after the fall. Only because by then I will figure out if Dueci will need both legs done or just one! by that time he will be all healed and good to go too!

My dad finally said I should get engaged atleast this year so I will probably get engaged then get married later on!
or maybe my 5th will be a skin baby

I'm a 37 year old mother to 3 skin (Connor 14, Chloe 11 & Callum 7) & 3 fur kids & wife to John, we have been married for 15 years & very happily at that:D

I've had various part time jobs since the birth of my kids but at the moment i'm just a mummy:D but hope to devote more of my time to the Maltese World sometime soon.

Well lets see. There really isn't much to me. I am an accountant and my boyfriend is an accountant. We both graduated from Virginia Tech, so of course we are Hokie fans! He and I are both what you would call nerds, but COOL NERDS! :nerd: I spend a lot of time with my furbaby Cosmo and my boyfriend. I like to read, knit, attend plays, go to the movies, and of course my favortie EAT and try new restaurants!! Of course I shouldn't enjoy eating that much because its really catching up to me now.:fainted: lol Anyway I love to shop and now that I have Cosmo I love shopping for him. I have just started a new scrapbook for Cosmo. I like scrapbooking because you can get the really cool paper and stuff. So I guess I like crafts and pictures:photo: :artist: I am an couch potato. I love watching all of the investigative shows like Law and Order CI, Law and Order SVU, CSI, NCIS, Stand Off (although this show needs some improvement on acting but its a really new show), House, Ugly Betty, Monk, Greys Anatomy, NEXT on MTV, and of Course CARTOONS! I guess me living by myself I got hooked on TV. :eek:

My name is Cheryl. I am 49 ( will turn the big 5-0 next summer). I have been married 29 1/2 yrs. to just the best guy in the world. We have 2 grown sons, one is married and has a 4 yr. old son, and the other is "almost engaged". I retired 2 yrs. ago from the corporate world of mergers and acqusitions. We have a motorhome, and love to travel. We take a cruise once a year and our other vacation time is spent tooling around the country in our RV. Hubby holds an executive position with Sun Microsystems - he is 2 yrs. younger than I, but would like to retire in the next few years, so we can spend more time in the motorhome - probably heading south for the winters.

LoL that is the vintage of when the cottage was built ;) We gutted it and are totally rebuilding the inside it is taking forever to do but we are enjoying doing it. All this because I fell in love with the gingerbread lacework on the front of the house. Originally we were going to pull it down.

square feet I forget, but it is tiny, very tiny. But by gutting it we are putting the walls where we want them. It is a little doll's house nothing at all prententious. typical of the gold mining era it was built in. The town I live in was built on the gold rush days. Our Suburbs are named after gold rush settlers like Canadian where I live now was named after the Canadians that came out here, and where the cottage is well, that is named after a castle in Russia as that is where the Russians came to find gold. People still find nuggets of gold here. It is a very beautiful historical town.

My name is Cheryl. I'll be 53 on Sat.(6th). I've been married for 31 years to my husband Nat. We have 2 sons, Anthony (30) and Nat Jr. (27). Nat is married and lives in Wheaton, Il. and has a beautiful brindle boxer named Champ. We have alot of play dates at his house. My son Anthony lives at home with us. Anthony is the reason we got another dog. He said Max would want us to he happy again with another Maltie. We live in Melrose Park (suburb of Chicago). My husband worked for the CTA (transit system) for 33 1/2 years before he retired because of a disability.
I have been with the school district for 21 years as a certified instructional assistant. I've worked with special education classes, 8th graders, 5th graders, kindergarden (for 12 years), 1st graders, and this year with 3rd graders.
I love reading about everybody. This really makes us feel like a family. :grouphug: You all are beautiful people and we are all lucky to be owned by a Maltie.:dogpaw:

We live in Vermont on 105 acres, in a 200 year old farmhouse with new addition ( post and beam). I am looking for pictures to post, so far all I see are pics of the barn. I am 49 years old, Mom to 2 ( son, 20 and daughter 17), married for 21 years ( almost 22)...I love my life. I am blessed and greatful. Oh and for laughs... I am only 4 ft 10 inches ( weigh 105) and have alot of long hair like Puttie!! ... That family pic was a professional shot and my daughter and I are standing on crates to reach our guys heights ( 6 ft)...My son is Firefighter and enrolled in Union College, my daughter is on her way to college, we don't know where yet, and my husband is a Gastorenterologist. I am trained as a Speech Langauge Pathologist but am not currently practicing. I am a designer, artist, cook, and I am a serious dancer. Now I am into Jamaican Dancehall music and have been going down to Jamaica for 25 years and have 'family" there. Guess that covers much of it..LOL!

I am 56 years old, happily married 30 years, 3 children a girl and two boys. One grandchild that's a boy. I am a fulltime "domestic engineer." I have lived in Florida for most of my life - 51 years). I own a 4 yr old female maltese names Kallie and a 14 month old male yorkie named Toby. Sounds exciting.... I Gen Contracted our project here...we did: new construction, demolition and rennovation..it was 2 years in the making but I love it. Yes the lacework is painted.
The house is no longer that color the green has gone. I should remember to take some newer pics. My daughter is keeping the picture diary of the changes to the house.

Gold was discovered in my town in 1853 and the town was built with the gold rush. We were hoping to find gold when we had big earth moving machinery come in and clear the land around the house and as some huge trees were felled we all looked closely lol in case there was gold unearthed by the tree roots. ;)

I am a Christian and I live with my mom and my younger brother. I will live with my mom for awhile, atleast until she either has a husband to support her or is financally set.
We are in the process of hopefully building a new home (we are in the loan process). My family has been through alot (we could write a book, lol) and this is such a huge deal for us. The house we are looking to build is 2300 square feet and is really nice. We just have to find the land.

I have 6 six dogs and my mom has 2 dogs, so we have 8 dogs in the house.
I also have 3 cats, 2 chinchillas and one mini lop rabbit.
I am currently studying to be a vet tech and would like to someday move on to become a veternarian.
I would also like to go to school for dog grooming.
I love obedience and use to compete some with my cocker. In summer I would like to get into agility with the yorkies and maltese.
Most of my time is centered around my animals since I love animals and it is a very big part of who I am.

I don't really have any pictures of myself, I never think to take them as I am always too busy taking pictures of my furbabies.:) And that is about it.

Wow your story is really cool! I bet you are busy all the time, but you are truly an animal lover:) You live with 8 dogs in addition to other animals. AMAZING!! Ok so I think everyone would agree when I say we need pics of all the animals:)

We have two children who are out on their own, one married and one I wish was married. No grandchildren as much as I try, I can't seem to manage that feat. What did I do wrong, neither of my kids want kids. Oh well, I guess I'll have to settle for spoiling doggie babies.

I have a h who lives in the same house :rolleyes: We've been "married" for 25 years. I have two sons, 18 and 22. I home schooled them for years. I didn't work while they were growing up - I wanted to be there all the time with them! I had to start working when they were teenagers.

We have a house along the Mississippi here, which is pretty nice. We have 6 dogs, 3 cats, 3 birds and fish. We used to have hamsters, ferrets, rabbits and other birds.

At one time I worked with a bird adoption and rescue.

For a couple years I fostered cats and/or kittens from the Humane Society. I did puppies ONCE! Now I can't do the cats cause I have too many dogs. I'm still on their list for fostering small dogs.

Since my kids are at that age where they are just leaving, I'm trying to figure out what to do with my life now. I'm just working part time which is all I can handle cause of physical and other problems.

My three Yorkies - 2 are 1-1/2 years old (they are 4 days apart), one is 8 months and my Maltese who is 4 months, keep me going. If it wasn't for them, I don't know what I would do. So for me they are MY therapy dogs! :)

I love theme parks and going on rides! Especially roller coasters. :D I like to go to movies and pig out on popcorn. :pig: (especially with my son and his girlfriend!) I love books and music and I would like to travel more. (maybe to FLORIDA) hint hint...

I love buying things for my dogs. Right now three of the four are laying at my feet and the other is watching me from the back of the couch. :)

Overall, I guess I like animals better than people! :lol2:

My name is Maggie I have 2 skin kids...a 20 year old daughter, and a 16 year old son. I have been happily married for 23 years and live in Miami. I am self employed we own a Construction Company.

I have 3 furkids.....Snoopy which is 3 yrs old and thinks he's a baby Bull Terrier, Mia which is almost 7 months and is a cute Maltese and Cody which is almost 6 months is my licky puppy Maltese.

My dayghter moved out in January and I replaced her with Mia.....LOL My hubby now adores Mia and even calls himself her daddy!

I have a saltwater fish tank and 2 grandbaby cats.....and that's about it!

Well, one is my h's - she is a 12 year old Golden Retriever mix that looks just like a Golden. The other is a mini Schnauzer named Greta who is 8 years old. She is all black. When I got her I didn't know they came in either wire coat or soft coat. I wanted a wire coat... she's a soft.... :(

I usually just talk about the 4 MOST important babies. :D

I'm Cathy and have 1 stepson (Josh, 25) who was married last year to a lovely girl (Cari) and have since been blessed with a grandson (Drake) Oct. 30, 2006 (just call me granny) and 4 girls Brooke 14, Megan 11, Katie 18 and Mandie 19) oh ya, and hubby Steve. We own a printing shop and an internet custom mouse pad business and I also manage office/sales at The GreenWorld Project. I dabble in website design in my spare time and have done sites for my work, hubby and friends. We live in N. MN in the country so winters are long but summertime is gorgeous!

This is Nala, my pomeranian that passed at 13 yrs. in Aug. 2005. She was so little at 3 1/2 lbs.

THis is Tucker and Leo. Tucker pees and poops constantly (I can't take it anymore!!!) but he's a sweetie and still a baby at 10 weeks. Leo loves his Tucker.

Andrea, I lost my sound card on my computer recently so even if I had a microphone I wouldn't be able to hear you :o Plus I have to figure out the IM thingy. My kids are pros at it, although when asking Brooke to help she refused cause she figured I might be on the computer more infringing on her IM computer time! Geez, it is MY computer.

Ya, I think I heard how stunning...:D Wasn't one of the girls (kelkiss, maybe?) in shock for two days or something?:confused: (you know I'm just kiddin:D )
