Has any one heard of Welcome Addition Puppies, in Frisco, Texas?

I have never heard of this kennel. But googled the name and within the first paragraph there was a RED flag. It states "Our puppies get the best level of care and love available. The kennel is located in Missouri but my husband and I were transferred to the Dallas area a couple of years ago." Missouri is one of the biggest puppy mill states in the USA.
Here is the link if anyone would like to take a look.

Here is another red flag on the cover page."All of our puppies are fully AKC registered which means that if you wanted to have a litter of puppies, you could register them. Many breeders will limit registration to keep you from having puppies. All of our puppies are purebred! We get top honors from AKC for having an amazing facility and producing top quality puppies. AKC will do surprise audits and DNA testing and we always get the highest marks! These things are important because it means a happier puppy and one that is healthy will cost you less in veterinarian bills in the future."
No reputable breeder will sell their puppies with breeding rights like this.

Sorry she sounds like a broker to me, she goes back to meet her family once a week to get the pups:confused:

Don't know this breeder but I wouldn't want to know her. I agree, no breeder that cares about protecting their lines will sell a dog with full breeding rights, that is just careless, IMO. If you get a dog from them for breeding, I am quite sure it won't be a maltese that will give you something that betters the breed.
I don't know this for sure but I'd stay away, just in case.

I don't understand...
Here in Italy all reputable breeders sell their puppies without any problem...I mean:
1) if you chooce a dog just to keep him with you, you will be allowed to pick him up when he's 3 months old and with ALL registrations, pedigree, 3 vaccinations, microchip (does it exist in USA?). Prices are between 900,00/1100,00 Euros.
2) if you choose a dog for competitions or breed, you will be allowed to pick him up when he's six month, to give the breeder the chance to double check that he is a perfect sample of the standard, to teach him how to walk the ring and pose, to get him used to comb, brush etc, etc. Prices are between 3000,00/4000,00.
..so I really don't understand the reasons those breeders won't sell one of their puppy...

It is kind of the same over here in the UK!
What we are finding now is limited Registration from some breeders, these breeders normally have American dogs so i assume this is coming with the lines from America...when they brought these dogs over they came with contracts that states any breeding that takes place has to have endorsements with the registration!
also the pups for show!! There is very little chance to get a dog over here at 6 months of age for show. Every breeder that i have spoken with in the past year & a half have all said that if they go to the lengths to keep a dog for that time then there is no way they are going to then sell it to someone else for show. They will keep it for themselves for show/breeding.

It has to be reasonable!! Maltese is Italian and we want to share our beauties (making sure the standard is respected, of course!) but here breeders also sell "future champions" for the right price. There's not a "selfish policy".

That calculates to $1,200 - $1,500 for a pet and $4,000 - $5,500 for a show dog. That is about right for the states to from an established breeder.

I don't know what to think. All I can say is that the breeder were I've choosen my puppy asked me € 1000.00. As soon as he will be 3 months I will pick him up. € 1000.00 = 3 vaccinations, all registrations, micro-chip, pedigree, training to use the diaper, training to be brushed, training to walk the ring and to pose, 1 maxi bag of dry food. I reserved the puppy 1 month ago and the breeder is in Tuscany (I'm from Venice) that means 4/5 hours by car...so during this month I've already received about 1 mail for once a week with pics of the puppy and his improvements. When I will go to Siena to pick him up the breeder will show me again his parents and then she will double-check with me the puppy: his teeth, the posture and all other standards. He will also take a walk in the ring and a photo with his family.
I also know that tiny puppies (below the standard) cost about € 800.00 (boy or girl makes no difference).
I can tell you for sure that vaccinations cost € 40.00 + € 55.00 + € 80.00 , micro-chip € 15.00, registrations about € 100.00, pedigree € 54.00.
I think it's fair, also because my puppy's pedigree is amazing.
What I really love about the breeder is that every summer she plans a meeting inviting all diamonds born from Diamanti Incantati - many people came from abroad too! - and when I saw the pics I was speechless: can you immagine a endless white carpet...?
ok, I stop know...I'm writing too much!:p
