I believe next week is the 80th San Gennaro Festival in New York City's Little Italy!!!! The sights, the sounds, the music, the food!!, must be wonderful. Andrea....does your family attend this great festival?

If you have attended this in the past will you please tell us about it. I love to learn about the different festivals.

:D Oh Cheryl it's wonderful, lots of food and my Italian culture , they have little walks holding St Anthony's statue and the people walk through the streets there must be 1000's it's really nice, well it's really about Naples, Im Sicilian but it's really all the italian culture, you learn so much and play games and EAT:p the food is wonderful and the people are so happy . I hope one day you can come and see for yourself it's really beautiful:hearter:

Andrea, I would love to take in the festival with you!!!! Too bad it isn't earlier in Aug. I'm back to work now and can't go.

I've been there last year. It was mostly about the food for me lol. Its so crowded though but still fun. It goes on for like the whole week i think right? Or just the weekend?
