Chino stayed in his crate overnight last night for the first time. We have always let him be free but we really needed to crack down on training him. So he stayed in and when my hubby got up at 6 he took him out and he went pee then I took him out and he went both. Ya. Well I have been posting a lot about training him on yorkietalk.com. So I am glad I am getting it down. :)

Before long, he'll be taking YOU out instead of you having to take him out. Toby, our Yorkie, sort of bumps you with his front paws when he's got to go and let me tell you.......he's just like a child, he waits until the last minute to tell you and you have to be ready to jump into action to get him out there but he has done great and is 100% outside trained. He's a good boy! The maltese, sits up pretty and flaps her little front legs at you begging you to take her out but then she does that for food and to be held and.......well, for everything! You just have to interpret what she wants by random questions. LOL:tongue6:

Thats great news:D keep up the good work.
I really believe crate training helps them control the pee & poo.

I've totally given up on crate training , the 4am sobbing was way too much to bear . You are a stronger woman than I . Sarah

Congratulations. It always feels like a time to celebrate when they "get it":)
