BUT today I FINALLY DECIDED THIS!
Im going to attempt a clean semi long puppy cut!
my kiddies are about 1 inch off the floor (except donbi) but I dont like it too long espically my boys I will be trimming and will post before and after pics :D

I am SAD!!!
but its getting so long I see them slipping and sliding everywhere and they always mess with their hair which drives me NUTS! :D

but maintainning it espically when they are puppies is driving me insane you see all 3 going after each other :tongue6:
i think i wont cut it too short on the body but maybe legs and face will be a little bit shorter not yet sure!

but i will do this after sunday church

I understand your pain Jadey:(

It is hard keeping them in long coats, especially when they like to rough & tumble so much but it is soooo beautiful.

Show dogs are more restricted in activity & also are wrapped to protect the coat.

If you are cutting, why not try a puppy cut on the torso only & keep the legs, tail & head long.

Let us know what you decide & i look forward to the pics:D

Awww that is sad. But, fortunately it is only hair and will grow back ;) (trying to comfort you here) :)

I cannot wait for the renovations to be over so Scrappy can have a decent coat again. Though I have to admit in the heat we are having at the moment he does seem happier in a short cut as he can paddle in the lake on our walks without me having a fit.;)

Aww Jadey , your dogs would look cute bald . I'm just about to have my
shih-tzus hair trimmed , Henry's hair drags on the ground . I'm sitting in while they trim though , Henry was one big knot when I adopted him , I cant bear the thought of them cutting off my hard work . Sarah

I agree hard to spoil the look of a Maltese except give it a poodle cut now that would do it for me. You know the cut the bare rearend shaved to the bone cut :tongue6:
