Aarghh - it's snowing again!!!

Okay, this is totally ridiculous. The town I love in got 34.5 inches on the 20th of Dec., another 3 inches on the 24th, 20.5 inches on the 27th and it has been coming down heavily since about 4:00 this morning - forecast for about another 8 inches. We have not seen the ground in 3 weeks. People I know from other parts of the country are touting how unseasoning warm it is in their neck of the woods...what is up with this crazy weather? I am going stir crazy...

Not yet Elaine as it is only 1:00 in the afteroon, but the news said that some businesses are starting to send their employees home so he may be home soon.

I get stir crazy very easily.............that's why I live in Florida. NO SNOW! And never shutin.:) Sorry you're getting such bad weather.

Awww Cheryl I am sorry you guys are getting more snow. The weather is just weird everywhere in the US I think. Usually this time of year in VA its like in the low 30's or upper 40's but it is going up to 67 degrees this weekend. Thats definitely odd here and the weather has been warm for the past 2 days. They say its because of El Nino. Please stay warm and stay inside. Keep us posted.

So sorry you are getting burried out there. We are in Vermont and going crazy for exactly the opposite reason, our ground is BARE NAKED!! Some skiers and boarders are going madddddddd with man made crummy snow and then neear 60 degree F temps..send some snow here and take good care keep warm and snuggly,. xoxox Nanci

I do feel for you and did see on our news here down under that you all are suffering unseasonal weather too.

I would go stir crazy after the novelty had worn off of being snowed in.

We are in drought with the threat of our water being reduced to 2 gallons:( I may be showering in a teacup soon. :(

Oh my gosh, snowing again. I would luv some snow, but I don't know if I would want as much as you have had and for 3 weeks straight.

Hope Greg got home safe and sound and both of you keep warm ( here I am in the middle of summer telling you to keep warm, weird:tongue6: )

Well Elaine, we are still in "sucks" mode. We had ground blizzards yesterday, 90 mph winds picked up the snow on the ground, whipping it around until we had white out conditions, so now any of the roads were cleared got covered again and have re-iced. They are calling for another substantial storm to hit us Thurs. - Sat. with possibly another 12 inches and temps not to reachout of the single digits. Greg is going away on business next week, so I will be stranded at home as I don't drive on this. This really is unusual for us - normally it snows, and is gone in a few days but they keep hitting back to back and they can't get the roads clear before the next one hits. I feel so badly for all of those farmers who are losing their livestock because they can't get to them. I do have a horse, but she is boarded at a stable less than a mile from our house. I am lucky because the stable has a hge indoor riding arena and there are 6 indoor stalls and when they built it a few years ago, I got my name in early and Vandi is indoors. She has a door that can be opened to her own private outdoor run, but needless to say, it has been shut lately. The stable owner lets her loose in the arena every day when she can't go outside, so she can run. Oh well, I just keep telling myself that in 298 days, I will be boarding the Carnival Conquest bound for the Caribbean!!!

Oh no, well you need to make sure your stocked up on everything for when Gregs away, get some good books to read & dont forget that we are here for you too *hugs* Sounds like Vandi is in good hands so dont worry about her, just make sure you are OK :D
