Matching Bows for the KIDS

I just ordered a pink and black bow with the initial "B" for Brandy as it will match the colors in her collar.......and when I get her harness. But I also ordered matching bows for all three kids..........with their initials......like the one below. I am looking forward to getting them and wearing them on my sweet furbabies. What do you think??? Oh I had her put their initials in the animal print bows. I will be glad to write a review on the bows once I receive them but I am sure I will be pleased as she has come highly recommended by other members.....

She onlly has that color in 5/8 inch and I had wanted 3/8 inch for a double topknot...........now I'm not sure what I will do. She gave me some other options. I just like the color on that cause of Toby's coloring on his face is very similar to the tiger color in the bow but I think 5/8 may be too big for his little face.:( :( :(

I'm not sure I am going to get the 5/8 or not. He has such a small face and I know they do wear 5/8 in the ring but I'm not so sure I like how it makes their little faces look. But I love the color so I may go for it. I have to ponder over it for a bit.

So when you show in the ring, you only use one topknot?????:confused:
Is a double topknot not permitted in the show ring?

Yup, it's only one over here! I dont know if two is permitted but it may look silly if no other dogs are in two bows. Also the one top knot is not papered either, just banded & not folded back! It must be allowed though as Marc of Friendship had doubles in for Crufts. Maybe i will be different & go for the two...if i ever learn to do them right:p

If they are not papered and only banded, do they keep the topknot hair cut shorter???? I mean if I didn't do Kallie's with the paper and fold it over, it would be in her face!!!!! So please explain?!:confused: :confused:

No, it does'nt go in the face! the longer the hair the better as it then just flows down along with the hair on the ears. I was going to post pics but remembered i'm not on my laptop:( i dont have a laptop anymore:wavecry:i may have lost all my pics, i have some on a disc but not them all:(

I dont know what you mean:confused: yes they do wear bows! I have never papered my kids topknots but i have still to master the poof bit:D

I do papers on Kallie; Brandy's hair is not long enough. But I don't do the poof thingie. Toby I do a topknot and then band the topnot again but don't use papers. I figured out what you were saying........I was just a wee bit confused.:D

That is a great looking bow. I always mean to order from Marj, but never do. I've seen her craftsmanship and it's exquisite.

I keep LB short now so I have these bows that I'll probably never use anymore.

I can't wait to see the kids in their new bows!
