I could certainly try... it's not easy cause Chip still isn't very fond of him. Chip has more of a reddish tan nose and he's shorter. His ears come to more of a point and stand up all the way. Chip is also still a little darker in color than Smokey. Other than that, their colors aren't too far apart.

Oh Ashley, I meant to just post a pic of Chip and then post another pic of Smokey in the same post not that you need for them to be sitting next to each other in one picture................don't want you to push poor Chip over the edge or start a doggie fight. Separate pics on the same post would be great! :)

In the pictures they kind of do, but in person it is VERY easy to tell who is who. Chip's ears stand up, Smokey's go up a little then the tips flop down. Chip is short, long, and stocky, whereas Smokey is tall, long, and lanky. Chip is a little darker in color, but you can't really tell in the pics. Smokey has a different texture of hair than Chip. Chip's hair is very silky and smooth, but needs to be dried and brushed for awhile after a bath. Smokey's is more course, but after you brush him, he can air dry his own fur and still look beautiful! Their personalities are complete opposites too. Chip is friendly and loving to his family, but kinda can get a little snippy at times. He's very shy around new people and doesn't like kids because he's afraid of them. Smokey is extremely friendly and playful to anyone he meets and will go out of his way to say hi to everyone. Chip likes to do his own thing and Smokey has to be next to someone or doing something with someone almost all the time. Smokey likes to ride in the backseat of the car, Chip doesn't. Smokey likes to be held all the time. Chip likes being held, but only for so long.

I was a little concerned about getting a second yorkie because I didn't know if I was going to be able to tell them apart, but as you can see it's as plain as day with these two terrors!
