Just Curious!!

Hi,
Don't think I'm a moron on wheels:D but I was wondering about something!!

Something really annoys me and I know everyone has experienced it, so I want your thoughts!!

Doesn't it drive you crazy when someone (A friend or somewhat of a friend) gets mad at you for whatever reason and then wont tell you why!!:mad:
I hate that and I don't understand it, I mean if your pissed at someone isn't it better to tell them why? I mean the only reason you would not answer them is because maybe you want them out of your life, period. I have never done this to anyone, but I am wondering has anyone done this to you, or you to them?

LUCKY - people always HAVE NO PROBLEM telling me exactly why they're annoyed with me ( like I care ) . I prefer a direct approach when dealing with people , being mysterious is just annoying !!! Sarah

Can't say I am guilty of doing that to someone. I can say that I am straight down the line. If you have done something to hurt me or p!ss me off then I will tell you, I won't ignore you.
I have had a friend do it to me before and after about 2 weeks of the silent treatment, I drove around to her house walked in and had it out with her, I can't stand those petty childish games.
A good friend is a person you should be able to say " hey that is great" Or " what the heck??, grow up, that is stupid" etc etc. and it not change the friendship.
I have a very dear friend of mine at the moment whom I am taking time away from. I luv her to death but just need some space. I have already had it out with her and told her how I feel and told her I am stepping back for awhile ( She has been seperated from her hubby for over 2yrs, she is night clubbing every weekend, picking up blokes, dressing like a tramp at the age of 44, and carring on like a tarty 21yr old) I said when she calms down or needs me you know where I am, I told her that I still luv her, but can't watch her do this ( she has kids, her son is 21yr and disgustered and her 16yr old daughter is so confused). I never just shut my friend out, I haven't shut her out, just stepping back.
I do see your point Andrea, it is so frustrating and rude when so called friends do that.

I always like to think that people have a reason for not returning messages, they may very well have a valid reason & that sometimes it is our minds that work overtime trying to analize what other people think.

I can honestly say I have not done this to someone. It may take me like a day to get my words straight so that I will not say anything too hurtful but thats only if I am really really mad which is rare. I have had this one person stoped speaking to me and to this day I have no idea why. I thought I was a good friend but I guess not. I still do not know why she is mad with me but I have not spoken to hear in 2 years. Interesting is all I can say. I guess some people are like that:( Me personally I think if you are meant to be friends with someone you will and if not you won't. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff:)

I am sorry, wish I could help. But, I have been such a poor judge of people on the internet/forums in the past that I am not the right person to give advice as I had a rather rude awakening myself. :mad:

One thing I am grateful for though, is out of that fiasco I got to truly meet you, and for that I am grateful. you have helped me more than you ever will know. :grouphug:

i know this one girl who was cool with me then just ignored me
at first it kind of got to me for the 1st 5 mins,
now i forget what her name is :D
i think thats why i only have a couple of real good friends instead of having a lot of friends cause at my age girls can be so much drama
i tend to ignore and forget if a person did that to me...

:D Nobody did anything to me, I was just wondering. I mean some people just stop talking to you for whatever reason, but thats life!! I guess friends are hard to come by, so the good ones we should always hold on too...

I've always been straight up with all my friends...........and hopefully they have done the same in return. Can't recall ever having a problem with anyone where we stopped speaking, lost touch during some moves but got in contact again at some point. But Hubby is my best friend and I spend more time with him than anyone else! We are honeymooning since all the kids are gone!:D See what you have to look forward to Andrea and Elaine????:tongue6:

Carol, I definitely hear you on that one. Once the kids leave home, "romance" certainly picks up. You can "romance" anywhere in the house you want, at any time you want. No more waiting until the kids are asleep!!!

I have never suffered from that "empty nest syndrome" that some people seem to have................and yes the options and opportunity is without limits! A new lease on life! It's heavenly, just me, hubby and my furbutts!!!:) :)
