hi new to MT

hi im geri .ive been lurking for some time . i have an 11 month old named meeko..tomorrow i am going to look at a morkie as a friend for meeko.my question is is it hard to give them both the same amount of love?

A maltese is one of the most loving little dogs and the yorkie is as well. They will give back 100 fold to what you give them. My Toby is a cuddler and lover with us but tends to play too rought with the girls but I think it varies with Yorkies!

It's always hard in the beginning, but after a little bit they will get used to eachother and be best friends, don't worry you'll see.

Meeko will be fine, I am sure he will enjoy a playmate. I was hesitant at first as well but it was the "best" thing we could have done for Kallie getting her a playmate and then adding Brandy has been great too.......it's so much fun to watch them play and they are no longing for us when we have to leave because they have each other. AND, please do update us as to how things go.:)

well we are home. she is very cute.doesnt look maltese at all.meeko is already very protective of her.my only problem is we cant get an appointment with the vet until nov 27. i hope that there isnt anything wrong with her. i wanted to name her mocka but my son wants to call her julie. i like both names. hopefully it wont get too crazy around here tonight! geri

Is she suppose to be a maltese or maltese mix???? Can you post pics of her??? Would love to see what she looks like! Is there a problem with you wiating until Nov. 27th to see a vet???? I like Julie!:) :)

Really..Where did you get her Geri?

from an ad in our paper. i called and they said they breed their dog twice a year.not a breeder etc.. i think it might not have been the best of backyard breeders but she was so cute. i also only paid 400 for her geri

:( Just be careful please this isn't the best way to get a pup, Nemo is from a petstore and he has had some problems, I mean it's done now you have her already, but make sure the Vet checks her thoroughly .

thats how i got meeko. the difference in the owners is really big. meekos mom made sure i knew everything there was to know about his care. these people just gave me her medical records and some food. i should know better but the deed is done. geri

I agree she is yours already so whats done is done. I am sure she is beautiful and I can't wait for pictures.:D
