Also says status is unverified. I know with paypal you want to be verified. The second pic does not even look like the same dog! Do I believe it is a teacup...............nope, maybe just a little one.:D :D

All the FAKE ads online contain an extra tiny dog - swathed in a feather boa . Not to mention if the price is to low - it really is to good to be true:) Sarah

I would be skeptical I didn't think all the pics looked like the same dog.

Sprout is 4 months old now and weighs 1 lb 4 oz but he is NOT a "tiny teacup" he is just a very small little guy that had a very rough start at life.

Believe me, you have your job cut out for you with the "tiny teacup" issues. I am so SICK of hearing "oh that must be a teacup" when someone sees Mr Wookie. My standard reply now is, "no he's not a teacup, he's a dog." And I leave it at that, UNLESS the person shows any sort of intelligence. Then I go on to tell them about the AKC Standard and that Maltese do not have a "teacup" version. THANKFULLY about half the people I share information with are happy to learn, but then half of that half have the "sad" story to tell me about how they were dupped by some breeder telling them they were buying a "teacup" and they ended up with a 10 pound dog. I also ask them, "well don't you love your dog?" When they say yes, I tell them, "good more to love." That always seems to make them smile.

Good luck to you!
Melanie

I don't like the description below the picture of that puppy. It says that you can get 'free' puppies....adopt one....which way is it.....free or adopt? You can't get an adoption without paying something. And if they are free there are way too many bad people out there that will take them under false pretenses and then sell them to companies for testing procedures.

Wow... I found all 3 of my little babies from Puppyfind.com...
You can sort of sniff out the scamers but everyone selling isn't a scamer.
I guess I was lucky....
Sheesh...

I got Missy Crash (English Bulldog) and Jasper off puppy find. I think the key is to see the dog in person. I went and picked mine up myself and did not have any problems. I would diff. recomend the breeder of the Bulldog but not the breeder of Jasper.

It's too bad there are so many unsavory sellers out there. Makes me want to not trust any breeder, you know?

I have gotten dogs from 3 different breeders. Now that I am older and wiser - :) I think I would not buy from any of them again. The first breeder that I bought a Yorkie from was my first experience buying from a breeder. I won't even tell you about it cause it makes me rather embarrassed that I didn't know what to look for and the red flags that were there but I was ignorant of.

It makes me mad that people that just want a healthy dog are taken advantage of so often. Bad people. :(

Scammers like that make me sick. I have had my pictures stolen off there before. And got so mad that I sent them several emails telling them thank you for liking my dog enough to STEAL their picture's.

You all are right. There are a lot of scammers. And to us they are obvious. But to the unknowing public they are not. And they are getting taken for a ride! Sad very sad indeed.

Wow. I'm actually searching for a puppy, and when emailing a "breeder" i actually got the same email that is noted on the bottom of http://www.foxstonemaltese.com/buyers_beware.htm list. I didn't follow through, but I didn't realize it was a scam or anything like that. Too bad I deleted the email and who it was from and the such...

=O

I can't believe people are so slimy. Really.

:( Where there is money to be made, you will always find "slimy" people in action and the world wide web, is just one more way for that type of person to scam someone.

Melanie, I think my first post here referred to my "teacup" maltese. I am still such a newbie but I do realize now there is no such thing...I feel like an idiot....and it wouldn't have mattered how big my dogs were, I would love them no matter what.
