Tail trimming

I just wanted to know, who trims there malts tail hair. It was grooming day for my kids today and I am so sick of the poop in the tail and Ernie just loves to hang from their long tails and it knots so easy, so off it went. I trimmed them quite short and now it looks like they have little pom pom's, they look really cute.

So who trims their Malts tail??????????????????

I don't trim Poptart's hair on his tail. I keep still keep him in a sanitary cut but I love him having a long flowing tail, and I have never had any problems with it so it will stay that way. I think the tails look cute either way.

I posted before the crash on how to shape the tail I will fish it out and post it again as it is a good guide.

I have trimmed Scrappy's tail into a pom pom and I rather like it though gosh it took forever to grow out :( Now I just trim it when it starts to touch the ground.

I used to cut the boys but it takes forever to grow:( so No for me.

No cutting the tail for me either.......took me toooooo long to get it to grow out. I find that if the stools are the right consistency, it is easy to get out and only a little touch up cleaning with a baby wipe does the trick! I LOVE LONG TAILS!!!:smlove2:

I have the groomer trim Jack's tail. I like the area around the butt trimmed very close so cleanup is easy. I also like the belly side cut very close.
