I am now accepting orders for doggie door bells. These allow your pup to tell you when they need to go out. There are no complicated electronics and they can go everywhere with you!

The bells come with easy to follow instructions on training your dog to "ring the bell." I am providing a few options for colors, but the sky is the limit...make a request and I will do my best to provide you with what you want. Charms and ribbons can be used in any combination you please.

Bells are $19.99 USD plus shipping. Shipping to US is $6, shipping to Canada is $5. Payment can be made using paypal.

If you have any questions or would like to place an order please PM me and I'll get back to you ASAP.

I have the bells and they are working well for the one, the newest addition to our family but the other two already worked out a system of letting us know when they need to go out. But it is amazing how the new one will go and whack the bells to go out. Thanks for posting, very nice product.

And welcome to Maltesetalk!

YES I definitely think you can start at any age. Regardless of age, all it takes is consistency and A LOT of praise, they learn really quickly. My two pups became 100% reliable with this method after about 3 weeks of training. What is going on with your little one?

They really do work. I was on the PC (like usual) and hubby was sleeping on the floor and I heard the "bells" jingle  ..........it woke the hubby up and I went out and sure enough, little Miss Brandy was standing at the door and had pawed the bells to go out........YAY YAY. She went out and did her business and came back in. I'm so proud of my little baby girl.

Then this morning, I was logging on to MT and wouldn't you know it, I heard them bells jingle again.......IT WAS MISS BRANDY. She went out and did her business and I'm just loving the idea of the door bells jingles.

Wish the other two would do it too but they have a good system of notification too so, I'm not going to complain! :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

To discourage pups from using the bells to go outside and play, you should take them out on the leash to their pee spot and come back in after they go, everytime. Once they figure out that it is to pee and not play, they stop ringing them unless they need to go. It is a little bit of work in the beginning, but they learn fast.

If you have a dog that is really good about only ringing the bells to pee then you can just let them out.

Good suggestion for those just starting out using the bells. Brandy only does the bells to go out to potty.:D

My two only use it to potty too. As a matter of fact, my DH didn't let Tess out after she rang the bell a few days ago, caus he thought she was fooling around and just wanting to go outside. Well within 5 minutes she peed on the floor...

Oh, what a good idea that is! Yes praise the DH when he does well. With repetition, he may just get it!:lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Jack has used the bell since we brought him home from the shelter. He was in a foster home with other dogs and she didn't use a bell, but when we adopted him and brought him home he would never bark to let us know when he needed to go out. He still won't bark to tell us, he uses the bell.

I just knew that Jack was a smart one!!!! I told Kallie she needs to learn to use the bell to keep up with her sister and now Jack! I think she plans on letting Jack do the bell ringing for her!!!!!:lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Ok, Brandy has really got the hang of the bells now.............it is just so exciting to hear those bells go jingle and she is sitting at the door waiting to go out. I am so delighted that I got them and she is using them.........I'm a happy mommy!
