I hate even advertising that I have puppies available (I find it tacky, but that's just me) however in case somebody is looking for a puppy, I know there are some wonderful members on this list! I am not in any hurry to sell these boys, so please don't feel like you 'need' to help find them a home. I just wanted to post that they are available.
I just had them evaluated for show potential by a very well known maltese breeder, and all three could probably be shown, but I only need one male so I am keeping the best one.

This is boy #1, we call him Frank. He is my favorite and needs to go to a special home, one that will picture spam me continiously so I can see how he grows up! I thought he would be the one I would be keeping, and I still might hang onto him until he is 6 mos to see how he turns out for show, esp if the right home doesn't become available. He is one sweet little guy and likes to 'talk' to you.

This is the other boy. We call him Gigantore but only because he was a tad bigger at birth, he is not any bigger than his brothers. Well maybe an ounce bigger, LOL. He is also a sweet boy with a really nice coat.

So here I am being tacky and advertising that I have pups for sale.

I personally don't think it is tacky Stacy to post on a forum where there are people that have a great love for the maltese; BUT shows wisdom in wanting to find the perfect home for them. What better way to find the "perfect" home than start on a maltese forum. You have lovely pups and I hope they find great homes where they will be loved and cared for. I have my hands full at the moment............but certainly enjoyed the pictures of your babies. Thanks for posting!
PS: Frank is my favorite too!:) :)

I wish I could get Frank, but you are too far away. I hope they get the special homes they deserve.
Thanks for sharing the pictures. They made me smile.

Stacy I am sorry I thought I had reponded to this thread. Teach me to think...:lol2: :lol2:
On a serious not it stinks having to place them but you should be proud of yourself trying to find the pefect homes and meaning that you will. I commend you for that and know that the right family will come along. And about your price that is what I asked for Haus which was Ch. Sired also so it is a fair price for a well bred dog. Cudos to you.

I have some new pics of Gigantore, he's a sweet little boy. I've never heard him bark, EVER. He's a little on the shy side but not overly so.

I hope it isn't the "boy" thing holding anyone back. I shake my head at the difference in price for male and female puppies because the boys are so much harder to place. I love my girls but the boys are something special. I am having a hard time describing it, you can see it in their eyes. All my Maltese are sweet and affectionate, Lily is a daddy's girl, and I know Hope will be all mine, Jasper not only loves both of us, he needs :wink5: to be with us. Vinny is my boy through and through, to describe how he looks at me might sound silly but anyone who knows us, calls me Vinny's obsession. He has to be with me, Jasper has to be with one of us. The girls love to be with us but are ok off on their own. When I was looking for my first Maltese, (Vinny), the breeder only had a singleton boy, I hesitated for about 5 seconds, never had a male dog. Honestly, you don't know what you are missing if you limit yourself to girls only. :)

Theresa,
I have always had "female" dogs!!! Our two malts are female but Toby the yorkie caught our eye and we don't regret getting the little fellow. He is a velcro baby more so than the malts. I LOVE my malts but they do not have the "need" & "attachment" like my yorkie boy has for me. I love the maltese breed and we actually was looking to get a male before we got Toby. Now that Toby is here, it would be difficult to introduce a male. He's not exactly the friendly type. I found out what I was missing......after I got my first boy.:hearter: :hearter: Now our girl malts are very very attached to the hubby, especially the new rescue, Brandy! She is like his shadow when he is at home. Kallie likes to be with you in the same room but not every moment. Brandy comes and goes unless, like I said, Hubby is home.......then she is a different dog!:p

I agree with you here & i have heard it explained as the girls love us but the boys are in love with us! My males are the same & one in particular idolizes me... if that is at all possible with a dog LOL! The females are a little more independant but all very loving!
Stacy, your baby is gorgeous! I hope you find the right home for him over there, if not you need to learn about UK import laws :lol2:

I would take them in a minute if I lived closer! I have some friends who are here in central Florida, looking for a maltese. But, we are just to far away.
They are darlings....so pretty! I'm so glad you are looking for GOOD homes for them.

Posting here isn't NOT tacky at all! Only maltese loving people should be here and you are getting quite a warm reception from others as well...UNlike another ad I saw posted. No one is slamming you at all; girl you got friends on the inside :awink:
Seriously...I know this is an older post. I am a newbie just looking through the site and getting a feel for the personality of it all. I like that maltese lovers can come here to look for a new pet.

Wow, old thread, LOL!!
Those pups are now two years old!
Gigantore is now "Mateo" and with an awesome lady in the Bay Area.
Frankie is still Frankie and with another awesome lady in the LA area.
Chowder I showed for a while and he is now in a great pet home in Orange County.
I should post our meetups pics, we had a meetup at my house and the brothers were reunited. I'll go find that pic and post it.
