My friend has a male 15weeks old one testicle is down the other is not its right above the other one what is the chance that it will drop she wanted him for breeding Im no breeder so I have no clue

She should probably talk with the breeder she purchased the pup from and if not satisfied, I would ask her vet about the chances of it dropping. Another thing to think about is if it is a genetic defect that it has not dropped and could it be passed on to any male pups that might result from a breeding. Just something to think about.

From what I have been told. That is usually a genetic defect which makes him unsuitable for breeding as he will pass on the gene. Your friend needs to contact her breeder.

Both girls are correct. Peanut has both testes hidden in his abdomen. His vet wants to wait until he is one to see if they will drop. If not she will "spay" him to remove them. It is a genetic defect and a dog with this condition should not be breed. It also increases a dogs chance of testicle cancer since the temperture of the testes are much higher since they are incapsulate in the abdomen. I would speak to the breeder also.

This is a genetic "defect" so no she shouldn't breed him. She should have him neutered.
