She's doing good, it's hard trying to keep her calm because she always want to play with her sister. I've just ordered the pen so I'm waiting for it to arrive.

Every so often, she would cry then lift her leg up. I pick her up and hold her and after she relaxes her patella would go back in place then she can walk normally again.

My poor baby:(

I got the sweater from Petco. She loves it. It's so warm and cozy, especially for the temperature we are having here in San Diego at the moment.

I am sorry to hear LB has Patella problems. Does she have it in both legs or just the one??????????? and has LB had a Patelle operation for it?????????????????.

I do know exactlly how it feels to have a baby in discomfort:smlove2:

Hi Bek!

Well, LB has grade 3 on the left and grade 2 on the right:( . She's going to have surgery on February the 4th, moved up from February the 9th. I'm still hoping to get it sooner. The ortho surgeon won't be back till January 28th. After the surgery for her left leg we'll continue to monitor the right.

I was mentioning how it's so hard to limit her jumping, running and playing since that's all she wants to do. She's such a sweetie. But, we're getting a pen for her so I can get her used to it.

I know that I'll be asking you, Andrea and the others here tons of questions the closer the surgery gets.

Sammy Maree had a failed Patella operation on her right leg. The orthopedic said it was probably because she was under 12mths, even though it is rare for that to happen it isn't impossible.
Sammy maree now has major problem with her left Patella also. Sammy was going to go in the end of January, but since my children don't start back at school untill the 29th we will be looking at around mid feb now.
I would have Sammy Maree on a lead at all times. She went into the pen for rest periods ( especially first 2wks) then she was aloud to be with me on lead and I found that a great help as she wouldn't be wanting to jump around.
I wish your little one all the best and make sure you post when LB goes in and is back home.
