Compensation To Be Paid

According to MSNbc news, the company responsible for the tainted dog food will be shelling out some money to those that have lost their pets. But as we all know, there IS not amount of money that can be put on our dear babies. But good news that they will get some sort of settlement.


This News report states:

A company that made contaminated pet food that killed dozens of dogs nationwide will pay $3.1 million in a settlement with pet owners.

The pet food, which contained a mold called aflatoxin, was produced at Diamond Pet Foods’ plant in South Carolina. The company will set up a fund to reimburse pet owners for the loss of their dog, veterinarian bills and the cost of any unreturned contaminated food.

It will definately not bring back the babies that have been lost. But maybe it can help with the families that can not afford to buy another baby get another.

So I think it is a very good thing. They need to be held responsible.

Exactly. The money could never replace or ease the loss they suffered, but it may help them purchase a new baby if that is in their heart to do!

It's about time they were held responsible for this. They should make China pay big bucks too.
