Listening to Elizabeth's Zo Zo's bark made me thing of a poll about the "barks" of our maltese so thought I woud do a poll!!!

Kallie has a deep bark and Brandy has a higher bark but not as high pitched. Maybe just a slightly higher pitch than Kallie.

So what kind of bark does your maltese have? And I have made it "more than one answer if you have more than one maltese." :)

Jack has a medium steady bark when he does decide to bark.

My first Malt Max had this great bark. He would do a really loud bark and then add an 'aroooooooooroooooooo' at the end. Gosh I miss that bark. Jack just doesn't do that at all.

I think we're talking about the same thing here. It is so adorable!! Ricky's bark is medium pitched, but then he throws his head back and does that a roor roor roor roor that just cracks me up!!!:lol2:

LB has two barks (the nut!), she has a low one which is accompanied with
a low growl when she hears strangers outside. And she she has a high pitched one when Carlos and I come home.

I can relate to that roor roor sound. So can most of my neighbours
And kids passing by or in the park just behind my house will often bark just to make Pip do it

I would definitely say that Emma has a high-pitch bark. LOL :) You can tell just from hearing her from the other side of the door that she's just a little thing :)

Deuci has a low but handsome bark lol
his bark is also a movement, when he barks ruff ruff ruff... his whole body all 4 legs jump back. so when he barks ruff (jumps back) ruff (jumps back).

Daeroni is a high pitch bark
he sounds like a girl, someone needing to be rescued

My mom's babi' well she sounds like she is a smoker
its all raspy and high pitch. very cute!
