Bath Day

Just curious as I go into my weekend routine. When do you bathe your furbutts and for the ones that have more than one do you bathe them all the same day?

It can vary, but Saturday is usually the day!

I bath them on separate days but if need be and a special occasion comes along, I bath them all on the same day. If hubby helps, I bath them all on the same day as well.........but our weekends are so busy it is just easier to bath them separately on separate days during the week. Good poll Maggie.....you must be bathing your pups today! :D :D Think I may be doing Toby today too!

Lizzie is a little difficult to brush, so I think Im going to try
to do it more than once a week....

I really don't brush but starting using the Petzlife and it has helped. But I have not been consistant with using it so don't feel I am in a position to write a reveiw on it but I did see some improvement when I first started using it. All three are going in for a dental clean and then I WILL start a routine of the Petzlife and see if it keeps the teeth as clean and sparkly without having to do another dental on them.

If you are going to go the "brushing the teeth" route, then I would step it up to more than once a week so that she gets use to it and it becomes routine to her and she accepts it more readily. They are so adaptable and willing to please, I am sure she will get use to the brushing.

I ALWAYS wash on a Friday ( even if I have flu ) . 5 long haired dogs is the ultimate back breaker , thank goodness for YOGA . Sarah:D

I bath them once a week - separate days. Teeth clean before their daily groom, sprinkle Plaque Off in their food each day and feed Royal Canin Dental Special (recommended by Vet) mixed with their kibble. I've got a tooth fetish :blush:

I am normally seperate days & have no fixed days for doing it, sometimes it's midweek & sometimes the weekend....depends on how quickly they get dirty haha!!:p

E....I'd be bathing Cody ever other day if I bathed him when he was dirty......that boy sure likes to be dirty and roll around on dirty smelly things outside!!! He gets so depressed on bath days that I ruin his weeks worth of collecting dirt in 15 minutes.:D :D :D

Count me in for Saturdays too (almost always)

And that is the only day of the week I brush her teeth too.

I have bathed her in the middle of the week, but she was really muudy and slushy and a simple rinse wasn't doing it.

Well I bath mine when they start to get smelly. Because they have dark coats you cant really see the dirt on them. But I bet if I had a Malt it would be a weekly thing.

Sunday is bathe day for the kids.


I dont brush their teeths, I used petzlife spray.

So sorry to have missed this, John. :o thank goodness for our internet researcher friend above whose post email notification brought me back ;)
Anyhoo here's the US PlaqueOff site (http://www.plaqueoff.com/proden_plaqueoff_animal/proden_plaqueoff_animal.htm). It works for us. There is also a human version in tablet form but I haven't tried that :D

Thats me too. Mine have been known to have more than one bath during the week depending what we have been up to.
