We are sorry to say that Trixie is no longer with us. It has been a few short weeks, but none the less one of the best short weeks ever. Trixie is in a better place after all the troubles. Today will be my last day on the forum. This forum was in honor of Trixie and the great dog she was. We will miss her dearly and she will always be in our hearts.

Thank you for all the support and the well wishes!

:( :( I am sooooooo sorry you have lost Trixie.......I know your heart must be aching something awful. It is never easy and the maltese is a wonderful breed that you quickly fall in love with. Again I am so sorry for your loss!!!
I hope you will reconsider and stay on the forum for the friendship you have extended and the friendship that was extended to you. Some members do not have their first maltese yet or even a dog so don't feel that you have to leave because Trixie is gone. Please stay.

I know it is hard at the moment as your feelings are still raw and the last few weeks have been very difficult as she had been so sick.........I know your heart was so into giving her a better life than she had known. Most of us have been down that road of "loss" and know what you are going through.......we all feel your sadness.:( :( :(

I am so sorry for your loss. I just saw this post. You gave her the best care you could and she is now at peace.
Like Carol said, please stay on the forum. I know it will be hard, we have all lost a dear pet but we can help you get through this.
My prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. You gave Trixie the gift of feeling loved and not having to spend the last of her days in the shelter. She had a family.
