My sling carrier arrived today and I promptly put it on and put Mr. Toby in!!! Oh my does he ever like being carried around "attached" to me. I even did some laundry with him in it and he just watched and was as still as could be. Then I set the carrier on the floor to have him hop out.............well, he didn't hop out!!!!:lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: He is such a needy baby and I think he would ride around in that sling carrier all day. I know the girls would not like it as they are 3 lbs heavier and have much more hair. But for those of you who have the "smaller" maltese, this is great for carrying them around. But I know this is probably another one of my "best finds" for my baby boy! HE LOVES IT and gives it four paws up!!!!!

I know my two wouldn't like it. Especially Chip. He likes to run free too much lol

I would like to see pictures too. Does this zip up all the way or is it open. You said one little baby, I read it was 22" long, do you think 4 would fit, I know sounds crazy but I carry my 4 around in my Sherpa. I though maybe the sling type would shift the weight from just one shoulder.

Well, I can't wear the sling and dog and take a picture. You will have to wait until the hubby comes home and then I'll have him take a picture of me and Toby. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Be Patient!
Fit 4??????? Not hardly and there is no zipper. It is just an open 22 inches long, enough for Toby to curl up and go to sleep if he wanted to............:lol2: :lol2: :lol2: Besides even if it held 4, you would walk funny!!!!:tounge: :tounge:

I have a cotton sling that was made for me and two of my Yorkies love to be in it. I haven't tried Jolie in it yet. I like to use it if I'm going to a family get together or something where I don't want them running around all the time.

YEAH Carol... so glad that Toby is loving your sling. Is that a "Homeward Bound" sling? I gave Sara one the first Christmas we had Sir Micro but not sure what she did with it.
GREAT photos of Toby and you, and hubby's arm! ;)
enJOY!

Toby just loves for me to wear it around the house for a free ride while I do housework............he's such a cute stink.
The sling is made by "Outward Hound."

Carol,
I am thinking on getting one of those for Jasper. How safe are they and can they sit higher up then at the waist area? He loves to be with me and I take him to work quite often, so I was wanting something to lug him around in. Is it to big for him now, he is still under 2 lbs.
Thanks
Tammie

Toby loves it!!!! They have a snap to attach to their collar/harness on each end of the bag and you can raise it to under your armpit if you want. I had it at the lowest point it would go in those pictures. It also has a strap that goes across the center of the inside of the bag as well to secure them. It's pretty big but I will try to get pictures of Buffy who is 6 lbs according to my scale when hubby comes home and post it for you to see.. It is very well made and I have no complaints about it. I'll also get the measurements for you of the inside and outside. :)

I just got this same carrier, and I love it! Vincent is very happy in it too!!
It is so comfortable on my shoulder.
Can hardly wait till I go antiqueing again, last time I carried Vincent and boy did my arm get tired. This is going to be perfect!

Toby and Buffy love to ride in their's. Kallie and Brandy ride in front pack carriers that sit up against your chest. Two for me and two for the hubby.

I think I googled it and then compared the price with ebay sellers......I may have actually purchased one from outward hound website for Toby and the other from ebay after we adopted Buffy. If I can find the information, I will post it for you. :)

I got mine from Ebay for a grand total of $16.00.. with shipping. New w/ tags.
I also just got today a Puppia medium step in vest harness from Ebay. Brand new at $18.00, with shipping! I am a bargain hunter!!
Vincent is between sizes right now on the harness. I got him a small Puppia step in vest harness when I first got him just 3 short weeks ago. That one still fits, but is getting a little snug. My boy has gained a little weight! The medium is a little big right now, but I like having the two sizes. I am sure the medium will fit him better when he gains a little more weight and his hair grows out.
Sorry to change the subject from the sling to a harness. But I basically just wanted to let you know that Ebay has the best prices I have found.
I love Ebay!!!
