Cost of Basic Training

I know some of MT members are or have been through some basic training for their pups. I just checked a "training school" here and they want $120 for a six week training course for Basic training! What did you pay or just tell me if you think that to be a good price!:)

I'll spill. Zoe's 8 week course was $140 dollars. The first week was all theory and the last week is evaluation/graduation. It has been wonderful and challenging at the same time, but really worth it.

Carol I am going to be taking the twins and Vicki to basic training for the lead and socialization part especially. I will be getting 8 classes for $95 bucks at petsmart. Maybe you should check with them. I have heard wonderful success stories about them.

We went through PetsMart too. It was $109 for each 8 week session. We did 3 sessions. It was well worth it to socialize Jack and learn basic skills.
Now, with that all said....Jack the terror has his own agenda at any moment, and he can drive us crazy, but that's Jack.

Ok well, maybe I will check out Petsmart but there isn't want near me. It would mean a hike to get to one. The other training place is nearby and it also offers one on one private lessons which might be where I need to start Mr. Toby the Terror.
