Jack has cabin fever, anyone else?

Jack is driving us crazy!!!!! I think he has a serious case of cabin fever.
The cold spell we have had lately has really stopped the walks and playing outside. Yesterday we had almost 50 degree weather and then the temp dropped all of a sudden with a strong rain storm and then winds up to 50-60 miles an hour. The wind chill made it like 20 below.
Jack has been bugging the heck out of his brother. The moment Tony gets home from work Jack starts in on him. It really is funny but Jack has been in time out so much, that now when we yell 'JACK!!' he automatically goes to his time out spot and plops down:lol2: :lol2:

Sorry, Cheryl, no time out here. The weather has been good, it rained for several days but the girls still go out for their walks.

I'm sorry poor Jack is having cabin fever. I'd go crazy too!
But that's hilarious how he knows when he's in time out.

My kids NEVER get cabin fever with our weather in Florida. They just love it when it gets a tad cool and they can go outside and run around and have a ball without getting "overheated." Kallie sends her love to her "sweet" Jack!:wink5:

Ok, I have to monitor the screen when Jack is around. He was on my lap when I was reading your reply. He turned and looked at me and smiled! I guess when you have the Boss Lady for a M-I-L and your lady love Kallie defending you, you think you can do no wrong:lol2:
He's bugging his brother now....he now goes under Tony's bed and just lays there with only his head in view. Then he lays on his side and does this little low growl and drives Tony nuts:lol2: :lol2:

I so understand the cabin fever part. I have to say that putting Zo zo in training this time of year was a good thing. This school has all kinds of classes (like one just for tricks) and the class plus the homework exercises help burn off the energy.
Zoe loves playing in the snow, but we have to limit the time she is out there depending on the weather.

There are many days that the weather is too cold or messy or windy to take the little one for a walk, so we play fetch. Or chase (dad goes one way and I go another and we both end up chasing each and the lil one). Hope this may give you some ideas,

We play alot of fetch with Jack at night. He loves the little tennis ball footballs and of course his little friends...'Mr. Stinky, Mr. Froggy, Mr. Weenie Dog, Mr. Ducky, Miss Patty, and Ollie Octopus.' He just terrorizes them all.

Well, there's plenty of snow in southern Wisconsin! We got 14 in on Wed, and an additional inch or so Thu and Fri we'll get more next week but we;re supposed to freeze to death tonight -10 below with wind chills of -40 below. ARGH! Yes we still have snow left. The temp is going to drop tonight, though we will only be -4 or so. Poor Wisc. people are going into a deep freeze tonight.:(

I can't wait for Spring to get here!!! Jack needs some good quality walk time with his big brother and I need to get out there and start with my 3 mile walk a day routine. This weather has been hurting my bad knee alot and sometimes the pain is horrible.

I am so sick of snow here in Northern Ontario, its miserable, well I am miserable and cold. My pups want to go for walks again, poor baby Hope hasn't used a leash yet. We have been in the -20 to -30 Celsius for weeks and weeks and the snow, come on, not to mention the highway closures that trap us in town, enough already...whew, rant over

I agree. I can't wait to get out and take my girls for walks. There is no way they can be out for walks in this cold. They are out long enough to potty and that's about it - unless my little yorkie gets stuck in a snow bank trying to track rabbits.:D
