I just purchased the below two items for use on Brandy as her coat is still in need of some work. The product discriptions sound exactly like what I need. I will say with all the great products I have been using on her for the last five months has greatly improved her coat.......it still has a long way to go!:( :(

So has anyone ever tried these products????? Thanks for any input you might be able to give.:) :)

SHOWIN STRAIGHT SHOOTER
for a soft and sleek coat.

Straight Shooter will make the curliest coats soft and straight. Wonderful with long coated breeds that need to take some curl out of the coat so it flows smoothly and reduces volume.

AND

SHOWIN SMOOTH TALKER
leave-in conditioner & flattening balm.

Smooth Talker gives maximum manageability and shine with a deep treatment and strengthening finisher. This botanically rich, leave-in conditioning and styling balm straightens and controls curly, frizzy, and poofy coats and gives incredible shine and manageability. Smooth Talker is a fusion of stylers and conditioners that deep treat, replenish, and heal the coat over time.

Melanie,
Tell Glory Girl not to bother with either of the products! I am very disappointed in the product and they have done absolutely nothing for Brandy's coat...........waste of money in my opinion. I will not be buying either product again!! Was a bit pricey and since it does not work.......a huge waste of money! I could have put it towards some of the better products out there! So tell Glory Girl to SAVE HER MONEY!!!! :) :)

I was so hopeful from what I had read about the product to help with Brandy's coat but..........it just didn't live up to the "description" for getting the hair straight nor did it reduce the volume. But I'm not giving up!!!! I just bought some "straight as a pin" shampoo and conditioner for humans.......we'll see how this works on Miss Brandy! :) I looked at some human hair products for straightening the hair and it scared me a bit so decided NOT to go that route! Maybe it will just take time to get her hair in good condition like it did with Kallie! I can only hope.:)

Brandy looks so much better so you must be doing something right. Kallie has such a beautiful coat. Chipper is a little "fuzzy" but of course he is not a pure bread. His father was a long haired chihuahua. He really looks more maltese though.

Thanks.............and I must admit that kallie's hair was in bad shape when we got her so it has taken a long time to get her coat silky but so worth the wait. Thanks for the compliments!!!! Keeps me motivated to keep trying.

Morkie, I recently try Jacques dessange Nutri-Extreme Conditioner. It smells very nice and it makes Hanzo's hair easier to manage and more shiny!
I also use the anti frizz conditioner (the violet color one).

I am happy with the result.

You can have a look at its site here
http://www.dessangeusa.com/july07/products/competence.php

(if you google it, you can also find its French version site)

I bought it in a local store. It's easy to find these products where I live here in Belgium. Perhaps you can try to buy via the internet??

The smell is nice. I bathed Hanzo today and used the conditioner (anti frizz conditioner - the violet color one). It makes Hanzo coat smell so nice and I notice Hanzo's coat is easier to manage. This is my opinion!

Glad that you can find the product near your work place. I use the nutri-extreme conditioner (the cover is yellow) and the anti-frizz conditioner (violet color one). They both smell very nice. I also use them for myself he he he :)

Let me know what you think when you try them. Thx
