Obedience School Week 8

We have been buried in snow this weekend and I got the call this morning that the class was postponed so that we could dig out from this mess.http://www.ottawasun.com/News/OttawaAndRegion/2008/03/09/4950911-sun.html

The trainer rescheduled the make up test for Friday at 7:30 and when I told Marco, he reminded me that he has a gig all weekend, starting directly after work on Friday. I called back and asked if there were any other make up days and she said she wasn't sure because she was calling me from her house and I could call the school tomorrow to see. Then, she said she felt very confident that Zoe would definetly pass the exam and that she would sign the paper for her to take the next level of classes without her even having to take the course. :yay_jump: :cheer: :clapsm: I thanked her so much and said I still want to see if I can get her in (I really want her to do this even though she doesn't have to now) and I am so proud of my baby. The instructor said it was up to me, but that she was very pleased with Zoe and us.

Sorry to hear about another round of snow for you guys.
We have finally been lucky, the last 2 alerts for snow fizzled out for our area.
This week we should get up into the 40's.
Please be careful and I do hope this is the end of it for you.

Wow you have really had the bad weather...........sure hope it lets up soon! I think it is a good sign that the trainer is confident enough to pass Zo zo without her having to go throught the motions. She has a trained eye for a dog that has the ability and she evidently saw it in Zoe!!!

Here's a description from thier website:

Advanced I: Intended for the dog who has already had basic training, this course is designed to polish your dog's response to commands. Training for attention and off-leash obedience are covered.

The class I want to get her in starts Sat, March 29 at 11:45 am and runs for 8 weeks (and is cheaper than the first class).

:wink5: She is now signed up for the next class and the next time the remake for the test works with our schedule is the day after this new class starts...so we will just take the gimme. She wouldn't let us move forward if we were ready and she didn't think Zo zo would pass the exam.
