Wow, thanks for the warm welcome you guys! :hearter: This is such a friendly forum!

I had posted before asking about people who owned bigger dogs and maltese, since I wanted one. :) The other members of my household really, really have a preference for mix breed dogs though, and so my sister talked me into going to see a litter of maltese/papillon mix puppies. Long story short . . . I am now the proud mommy of a little white fluff ball with ginormous upright ears. :hearts6: I got to pick him from a litter of 4 boys, and chose him for his more calm, cuddly maltese-like temperament. :) Pics to come soon!

Hi Colette, I am owned by Kira (a German/Shepard mix) and LilyBelle. Though Kira is a big dog, she is very gentle with LB. It's LB that can be the "roughneck", I do still keep an eye on them when they play. Congrats on your new baby and we can't wait to see pics!
