I grew up drinking whole milk, the kids drank it too and then as they got older we went to 2%, then 1% and now we all drink skim.
The funny thing is that I always hated skim milk, I couldn't stand it and all of a sudden one day I gave it another try and that was it....strange:D

When my kids were growing up, the dr. told me to stop giving them whole milk cause of the fat in it. We started on skim and have been drinking it ever since. When I taste whole milk now, it's like drinking cream.;)

I drink 2%. I always drank whole until my daughter kept fussing at me over how bad it was for you. Took me a while to get used to it but I'm fine with it now.

I am not big on milk and only have it on cereal so its either skim or 2%

I love milk, but have high cholesterol (at 20, go figure.) so I have to drink skim, and soy milk in cereal since I have it so often.

I'm somewhat lactose intolerant, but it doesn't stop me from drinking
CHOCOLATE milk! Only if I am home.:D

But, of the choices, I like anything from whole to 2%.

My kids like whole and I like skim or 1% so I try to sneak in the 1% but usually have to compromise and buy the 2%.

Yeah.. skim in coffee requires a "splash" of 1/2&1/2 to help it out. :lol2:

I ONLY use half and half!!! Makes the coffee so good but then I am not a BIG coffee drinker. When I am out somewhere and order coffee, I ask for half and half with some coffee! I just get a smile but get my coffee the way I like it! yummy!

You're not a BIG coffee drinker - does that make you a SMALL coffee drinker?:lol2:

You are like my brother - a little coffee with his cream. He also adds sugar.

I LOVE my coffee in the morning.:hearter: I love the smell of it brewing and I love the feel of the warm cup in my hand. I don't like having to use the loo so often though.:(

I always thought the fat free half and half was a big joke. If you take the fat out, it isn't even half and half anymore!!! They should call it "fat free coffee substance."

Well, let's see. Soy milk is made from soy. Rice milk is made from rice. My guess would be hemp milk is made from..... HEMP!!!!!!!!!!!! :p:p:D

I don't use the fat free half and half..........I use the full caloric one!! :) :) I don't use sugar as I am "already too sweet.":wink5::wink5:

Ok Hemp is defined in the dictionary as: The tough coarse fiber of the cannabis plant, used to make cordage.

So I'm still clueless...........:o:o:o

Here's some info on it...It does not contain THC for those of you who are wondering...
As I mentioned, I usually drink soy milk and rice milk, but a friend of ours introduced us to hemp milk, and it was actually pretty good. She eats an 85% raw diet and is the healthiest person I know.

Almond milk is another milk that she introduced me to that's really delicious...

Hmm. That sounds interesting. So, how do you like the taste of it? Does it in any way compare to "regular" milk in flavor?

Do you think all the products on their site are worth the money... they are pretty spendy.

I never knew you could make food products from hemp.

As far as taste goes, none of these other milks taste anything like regular milk, in my opinion.

The website I posted was more informational. I don't really use their products, but again, I have only tried hemp milk a few times. I haven't researched it to death like I do everything else!! LOL :) So I am not a big hemp milk drinker, but it does taste good. It's a distinct taste, so you really do have to try it.

I mostly like plain varieties of Silk Soy milk, Rice Dream milk, and almond milk :) They are all very different in taste though. Every once in awhile we buy organic 2% milk, but I miss the taste of the others very quickly..

OK, I know this may seem narrow minded to many but I AM NOT A COW! So cow's milk does not do my body any good.

However, Half and Half in my coffee sure is a delight.

Yes, I am half and half. :lol2:

enJOY!

I drink Skim milk. I never liked milk growing up, just the thought of it made me gag. We drank whole milk. But my older sister introduced me to skim milk, and while I am still not a huge fan of milk period, whenever I do drink/use it, it's skim. It just taste better to me. JMO.
