Ok this is soooooooo hard to write and stay humble!:p:p:p My little Toby did wonderful on his final test day and took 'FIRST PLACE.' Yep my little boy was at the head of the class and everyone clapped for him. All of them congratulated me and said he did wonderful.............and you know what, he did! He is a brilliant little dog!!! And he is soooooo beautiful (said with absolutely no prejudice or bias).:hearter::hearter::hearter::hearter: He now has a certificate with a trophy on it that says first place! That's my boy!

I am sure this big head will pass in time, you'll just have to put up with me until it does!:tounge::tounge:

We are going to be starting intermediate classes next month! They sound a wee bit harder though and eventually will be working with them "off leash." This will be a true test for Toby..........he is such a terrier!

That is great Carol!! Way to go Toby!!

Not only a beautiful yorkie, but a smart one as well!!:hearter:

Good luck with the off leash test, it is a little harder but I am sure Toby will be great at it as well.

Of course I wouldn't have any problems with Destiny being off leash because she is velcroed to my side, lol. But the others would fail miserably!!:o

Congrats on your success!!

Congrats! wtg Toby!!!!

Thanks, I am very proud of the little guy. We start advanced classes this coming Wednesday..............hope he does as well! He is eager to please but also very clingy and that will make some of the new training a bit difficult for him..............we'll see how it goes. The trainer said that very few dogs make it throught the advanced class the first time..........I hope I can prove her wrong! :)

hehe i have MeiLing in handling class and although she likes to please she can't seem to pay attention with all those huge dogs around that wants to sniff her or maybe eat her...hehe..someone made a comment that her dogs must think that she is one of those squeaky toys they have at home and i am like ok keep your dog away from mines...hehe

I was disappointed that they do not control classes by "size." Toby is dog aggressive and that is why I am putting him through the classes to socialize him but the training is just a plus. First week, he was not too happy a camper to be in class with "big" or "small" dogs! By the end of the class, he was better with the other dogs but still not wanting to be "friendly" with any of them.

You are smart to be careful with bigger dogs in the class.......I always watch Toby and any other dogs that come near as you "just never know."
