I am so tired.:asleep::asleep: I ran around a bit this morning/afternoon doing errands. Then when I came home I took care of the dogs and put things away in the kitchen. I did laundry. I started sorting through a bunch of papers and bills.

Then I had to cut up 60 lbs. of beef heart to freeze. Yesterday I did the pork and chicken. No one ever told me it would be so much work to cut up all that beef!!!

Then I did more laundry. I talked to my mom. I vacuumed. I clipped the nails on four dogs. I stopped in and made an eye exam appointment. I rented a movie.

Then, when I was just about to sit down a certain little Yorkie was trying to use the potty pad to poop and it got stuck on her. (the poop, not the potty pad :lol2:) So we had a butt washing session. Then on to drying and a butt hair cut.

FINALLY all the dogs are sleeping and I get a chance to sit and use the computer. Whew.... I need a nap. Or maybe a good massage would work wonders.

So, how is everyone else doing?????:D

I was tired just reading your post...............don't ya just love them clingons!!!!

I did some laundry, played some games in the arcade, talked to Maggie, spent some time in the sunshine with the doggies, watched some TV, made and ate some lunch, did some posting on MT and YT, fixed topknots, talked with my daughter, fixed and ate supper.............and now about to chill! :)

Not a very typical day for me though!:tounge:.....and I still have to do the daily brushing of the dogs!:(

Well I didn't go to work today because I had pre-op testing so I have been on the computer most of the day. Did a little laundry, the dishes and cleaned the living room carpet. Should have done a lot more.

Wow! You do need a rest! I'd need someone right behind me crackin' a whip to get that much done in a day:)

Today was a looooong day at work. 7 am til 7 pm. It was education fair at my school and we worked right through. Whew! It was a nice day, but it's good to be home!

Oh my goodness! I had no idea. You're really going through the mill then, aren't you? I'm really sorry you're having to go through this. Any idea of how long you will be in the hospital after your surgery?

I think maybe I was tired when you posted that.:D:o

My hair isn't that hard. You wash it, comb in a product and leave it. The next morning you don't have to wash it again, just wet it down, comb it and leave it.:D:D How much easier can it get????:lol2:

I will only be in the hospital overnight is everything goes well. Here is a link to a petition someone put on another forum. Insurance just won't allow a longer stay. At least they keep you overnight here.

The link doesn't work for me. It just tells me the page doesn't exist.

I was afraid you were going to say you had to come home the same day. It's pretty bad how the insurance co.s can control so much. Makes me mad.

When is your surgery scheduled for?

At least 2 weeks-maybe more depending on how many lymph nodes the take. They will send off specimens to see what the next steps are. I should know in a couple of weeks if there will be more chemo.

That's OK a couple of weeks with no driving and no working. I can still post on here using one hand.

..............the games can be played one handed too ! :) :)

Hoping all goes well with your surgery. My mil is fine and cancer free now for six years!!!! She just has to be very careful as they took all the lymph nodes out on the left side. She stayed with us for the first week after surgery and it really helped her healing time. Hope you are going to have some help after surgery.

I will be thinking about you on Wednesday ................ hope everything goes well!!! Stay in touch and let us know! :hearter::hearter:

LOL. Posting on here is one of your first concerns??? :lol2: I've done it one handed - after my surgery and is was not easy! It took so long to post. Of course that was me. :o I'm sure you'll be faster at it.:D Then I cheated and started using my arm.:( Not a good thing.

Please keep us posted if you can how things are going. Are you pretty nervous about the surgery or are you doing ok? Like Carol said - do you have someone to help you when you come home?

Thanks so much Carol. My daughter (Angiedoogles on YT) will be here most of the time. She has one class on Thursday that she has to go too. I also have a 10 year old and a 17 year old home. May be by myself some while they are in school.

I am not nervous yet. Trying to make sure house is clean, kids have what they need and so on. probably will get a little nervous Wed. morning. The main thing I am concerned about is waiting for results of labs after surgery. Whatever they are I will deal with it--can't change things but I think it will all be OK.
