Subject: Susens Maltese
I am a volunteer in Houston at a small dog rescue. So I know only too well how "some" breeders operate and what questions to ask and what to look for. We have always wanted a Maltese. They are very few rescued and usually sick, old and un socialized at the rescues. I came across Susen's Maltese on the Internet. Since she was here, in Houston, I took a chance and called. I guess we screened each other,ha ha. She invited us to come to her home and see the pups and she had a wonderful female that retired at 6 years old and was currently 8 years old. Her home was immaculate, NO odor and the few litters she had were in cleaner cages than my house! They all were very socialized and beautiful. She took us to her backyard and explained the puppies playtime, weekly grooming, the whole works. She takes great pride in her litters and breeding Maltese.....that was pretty obvious! We decided to adopt the darling 8 year old female who was named Rose her nickname is Rosy Posy. We immediately took her to our vet for a routine check- up. He said she was in great shape and he complimented the breeder. Before we had left Susens home with Rosy, Susen told us to call or e-mail her any time if we had any questions or concerns. I have called her several times just to tell her how much we LOVE Rosy and how wonderful she is. She acclimated to my home immediately, sleeps with me and my husband, loves to go bye bye in the car, gets along with my other dogs, goes potty outside and has just the most loving personality. Rosy even smiles. She has added so much to our lives. I deal with many breeders and she is definitely A+ in ALL areas. I would highly recommend a Maltese from her, no matter where you live. You can be assured of a very high quality, loving and very best of the breed.
