I read that maltese puppies are sensitive to cold and heat.
I live in Southern California so my main concern is the heat, but at night and in the morning at times its pretty cold, maybe like 50 degrees or so.
i got Emma some sweaters incase it gets too cold, but whats to cold?
Will she be ok going out at night and early morning over here? I know it doesnt snow or rain here much but it can get cold at times. I just want to make sure she isnt cold.

Thanks!

Hi Emma

Welcome to MT !

I live in New Hampshire and my Lizzie is fine without a jacket into the 30s as long as its not windy or snowing !

Usually she wears one if its below freezing or raining !

We just hit spring so no more jackets !!!!

Their body temp is higher then ours. If you are cold/hot Emma may be too. I always feel if I am too hot or cold then Simon probably is. If I have to wear a coat outside then I will put a sweater on him.
