is it only me who is still showing as online when logged out?

I have to clear my cookies and all my passwords in order to log out and when I am logged out I look down at who's online and there I am

If I am going to be in this positon permanently is there anyway the anon button can come back?

Thanks Admin

Bren, when I wanted to log out before the crash, I just clicked LOG OUT button, then Yes for are you sure, and that was it. I was Logged out, but not now. Now I have to do this.

1. I click the LOG OUT button

2. Then the box appears saying " Are you sure you want to log out? " I click OK.

3 Then I get another box saying " An error has accurred while attempting to log out", " Click here to log out". So I click on that line ( click here to log out line).

4. Then I click the LOG OUT button AGAIN

5. Then that box appears again saying " Are you sure you want to log out", I Again click OK.

6. Finally I am logged out. Try that and see if it works.

Thanks Bek for trying to help but, I know those steps

I just get an error message.

Deleting my cookies and passwords is frustrating as I have saved passwords for places like my blog and it is annoying to have to try and remember my passwords and logins when I visit other sites.

I updated Firefox hoping that would fix it.

I just wanted to eliminate whether it is an MT problem or mine, before I waste time trying to find the problem on my PC

This is the only site I am having a problem with.:(

When it gives you the error message, place your mouse under the word 'error' and see if you see these words light up "click here to clear cookies" If so, click it and see what happens.

For some reason there is some text on this site that is the same color as the background! you don't see them until you put your mouse over them

As far as logging off and still seeing your name there, there is a 15 minute delay before your name disappears. I don't know why, but it is like that on the other site I am a member of too.

Jodi it is happens when I open the MT window for the first time before I login I am showing on the board.

Deleting the cookies dont work I have to delete all my passwords and that is the annoying part as then I am deleting passwords to my blog and other sites.

I am wondering if I could just be switched to anon if that is possible.

Thanks

I have trouble logging out when I click on the "log out" at the top of the forum page. If I scroll all the way down to the bottom of the forum page and click the "log out" button there I have no problem.
