how old are maltese pupppies when they stop growing? mine almost 5 mths. and weighs 4 lbs. thanks

I think they're all different. Mine seemed to stop growing at like 7 months maybe and he's a year old now.

Sorry, I am of no help.........I adopted my maltese girls when they were older than two years old...........they are hefty girls over 10 lbs.

I think Jolie was around 7-8 months too. Every dog can be different though.:)

Don't know if it holds true in the Yorkie world because we adopted Toby at six months and he was 4.8 lbs and by one year he was 7 pounds. Could be that he was underweight for his age when we adopted him though.:(:(:(:(

The girls were both over two and gained weight but for sure it was a "need" to gain in their situation.
