Hi,

My name is Amanda, I've been searching for some time for a breeder in and around Massachusetts, does anyone have any suggestions or helpful suggestions? I would love to own one of these beautiful puppies, but I'm having the hardest time locating them around where I live.

I would definitely be willing to go to someone around me, however I would never want to ship a precious pup and all the breeders I find are far out of state.

Any suggestions???

Thanks so much!!!!

- Amanda :)

:welcome: :welcome: Welcome to MT Amanda...........I wish I could help but I really don't know of any breeders in the area. Hopefully someone here will be able to guide you in the right direction. You won't be disappointed if you hold out and get a maltese, they are lovely little dogs!

Welcome Amanda to MT. Maybe if you contacted the AKC for a breeders list for your area it might help you. Good luck and I hope you are owned by a maltie pup soon.

Hi and Welcome to MT!!
Is there any reason why you don't want to ship a pup?
It really is safe and alot of care goes into it. Most reputable breeders are very careful when they ship their babies.
I dont know of any breeders in the MA area, sorry:(

But I would really consider shipping .. Good Luck

Welcome to MT:D

Like Andrea said shipping can be done very safely through a reputable breeder.

That was the thing, being out of state from a breeder stinks!! I would love to meet them and visit with them, you know?

I tried the AKC and couldn't find a breeder around here, and someone I know recommended YorkieTalk.com so I went there to look around and found this website, kinda hoping with as many people that care so much about their babies that I would be able to find something.

Thank you all for the replies!!!! :)

It looks like I'm still searching!!! :)

I know but dont give up hope, a good responsible breeder will want to get to know you & will ask you many question & want you to ask lots of questions too. They will take time to get to know you before shipping a pup. In many cases this is the only way some people can get their little fluff unless you can drive out of state to visit with the breeder, or you could fly to collect the pup.

Goodluck with your search.

Heh, I was just searching for MA Maltese Breeders and I happened to stumble across this page.
Well, I've found a few so far, but not many have websites.
Here's what I've got so far:

Snowy White Maltese
Linda Snow (781) 727-0100

Massachusetts / Northbridge, MA Holly - Pampered Pups and Pooches in Massachusetts

http://www.laptopmaltese.com/

www.toydogs.com/

Carole's Maltese
(781) 341-8928 Stoughton Massachusetts

Good luck and hope all goes well!

P.S. - Sorry if I'm reviving an old thread.

The LapTop Maltese looks reputable, but I dont think the Toydogs.com is:confused: I hope she finds her baby.
