That looks yummy!!! But I would like mine without the bladder, liver and heart and please, if you would, have it cooked in broth.

I sure would have loved to see a picture of him chowing down on that stuff........oh and leave the supplements out as well, I don't want to turn into the shaggy dog!:lol2::lol2::lol2::lol2::lol2:

Looks like a good dinner. Did I know you fed raw?

While I'm dishing up the food for my crew, Landon actually drools onto the floor. :lol2: He will put his head on the counter to "help" me. :)

Isn't it fun to watch them chow down on this stuff? :)

I will get him tonight. I don't know why the mic wasn't working I need to see what my daughter did with the camara. I was telling him to sit and down but he got quite excited when he smelled the food.

Too cute, he looks so sheepish and yet patiently waiting. So did he make any noises while he was waiting???

Yes you knew I feed raw.......old age!!! My little ones won't eat it anymore but Snoopy loves it! He swallows 1/2 a chicken in 3 bites he is a beast.

He smacks his lips and whines a bit but I like the lip licking the best.:lol2::lol2::lol2:

Yes, all of them. :) It wasn't more expensive until Landon came along. :lol2: I started them on it last Dec. They LOVE it. Brea is a little more picky than the others but they are doing really well on it.

This morning the little ones had beef heart, pork roast and gizzard. Just a tiny bit of each. They are supposed to get about 2 oz. a day. I feed them them twice a day.

Now Landon... he had a huge dish of ground lamb with bone, pork roast and lots of beef heart and a fish oil supplement for his skin and hair and a supplement for his joints.

The evening meal almost always has bone in it. Chicken, pork, game hen, chicken backs, etc... I gave them big bones once - beef brisket. The bones were about 9" long. They had a fair amount of beef on them. Tinka and Kaya stripped those bones down so clean - the beef bones are too hard for their teeth so they just enjoyed the chew and then I tossed the bones. I don't know if Jolie quite knew what to do with it. :) I'll try it again tonight and see what she thinks. It's really good for keeping their teeth clean.

OK, brain fart time again. What kind of dog is he? I was going to look at the pic on PB but it was taking too much time to load - I'll check it out later. I enjoy hearing the crunch, crunch of the bones.:D I have fun feeding them this way.:)

OK

I don't know much about the raw diet besides what I have heard from a co-worker who switched last year (he says there is less poop and the dogs don't drink as much water) so I apprecaited the step by step demo.

One question...I thought bones (especially chicken bones) could splinter and be bad for dogs. Or is it only if they are cooked?

Yep, that's only if they are cooked. They are much softer when raw. My crew just finished eating chicken thighs and legs with the bone. Also little pork riblets that have the small bone. Landon ate 4 chicken backs and 5 leg/thigh pieces and then stole Brea's food. :lol2:

The bones only splinter and become brittle when you cook them. Raw bones are chewable and easily digested.

Teri I don't let the fluffs interact since Snoopy is dog aggressive :(

Maggie, my gosh, Snoopy is just stunning:hearter: You could see all that power in his body! Kira does that too but with the whining and barking. LB just waits patiently so she eats first.

Raw, huh? I'm sure Kira would love it, but LB will probably expect it cooked and on a silver platter :D That is a great picture demo, thanks Maggie!:coolsmiley:
