No "bones" about it he loves his food. If he can only learn how to chew.

WOW that was fast
Does he eat green beans?
You said in another post that he is dog aggressive..do you have to keep him away from the other 3? That must be tough.
Snoop is very cute
(I like his food dish too...better for the bigger dogs to have them elevated...even Zoe's is up off the floor)

I keep Snoopy away from the little ones. He stays in my son's room. I have tried to make them friends but Snoopy is sneaky he will pretend to be nice and then snap at them. That dog eats anything and everything...fruit, veggies, meat, rice, pasta.......he is not picky! That stand and food dish was a Walmart special only $8.00!

So for all you smart feeders out there: Can you raw feed, kibble feed and home cook feed or does it have to be limited to just one choice??? An either or situation?:confused::confused:

Why do you want to complicate yourself. You can feed kibble & homecook but no other food for at least a few hours after the raw.

Homecooked meat is way better for them than kibble, but it is a bit harder for them to digest than raw and it loses a lot of the nutrients. Like I said, it is still a far cry better than kibble.
And like Maggie said, don't feed raw close to the time of anything else. It digests at a faster rate than the rest so it doesn't cause problems - if it is fed with kibble (which takes longer to digest) it will stay in their systems too long.
Someday, I will have a strong opinion on this subject.:lol2::lol2::lol2:

You really think homecooked is better than kibble??? I mean I look at the ingredients on the bags of the upper priced kibble and it has so much of the good stuff in it with the extra calcium, d and e vits and those vits for the leg/joints. I want what is best for the pups and don't mind cooking, just don't want to affect how well they are doing right now on the kibble. I just added the Core Original by Wellness and they are real fond of it on it's own but mixed in with the other three kibble, they will eat it. It looks pretty good, unlike the weight management by Wellness which looks bland. They never throw up, never have runny poo and only poo twice a day almost on a schedule. Grrrrrr, I get myself so confused on this issue! I don't know if I could do the raw or not.........sounds like it is easy.
So Teri, can you give us aa example of what one "week" of a raw feeding schedule that you do with your fluffs would be like???? Maybe that will help some of us with that decision. The whats, whens, the amounts, etc. Don't leave anything out! THANK YOU, you are such a dear!:hearter:
