Mia had the runs yesterday and was vomiting. I took her to the vet (I know I should just buy stock in their business) and they gave her subcutaneous fluids and a shot and some take home meds for the diarreah and vomiting. She ate just a little bit of chicken yesterday and chomped on some ice but no water.

Around 1:00 am she was doing circles on my bed so I put her down just in case she had to "go" she could do so on the potty pad. I guess the shot worked because nothing happened. Today she is sluggish refuses ice and doesn't look right. I'm worried but am going to wait to see if she eats the boiled chicken and rice I'm making her and I'm going to try giving her the gatorade that she likes. Please keep my poor munchkin in your thoughts today. Thanks!

Poor little Mia Pia..............I know you are so worried about her. She is usually such a ball of fire, it is hard to see her so sick. I hope she eats the chicken and rice you are making her. Glad the runs have stopped...........it is so uncomfortable for them when they get the runs. Keep us updated on how she is doing. Hugs and Kisses from Auntie Carol.

It's so hard when they are sick, isn't it?

I hope she does better today - and that you won't have to go back to the vet. Let us know what's happening, ok?

Maggie

I am so sorry your little girl isn't feeling well. I know this has to have you so worried too. I will remember both of you in my prayers and thoughts today. Give her kisses from us.

I hope Mia will start feeling better soon. I wonder when she was circling if she was sort of making a place to rest. Sometimes when they are restless it could be gas in their tummy. Let us know how Mia is doing.

I really wonder if there is something going around. Mr Wookie isn't eating much the past three days either. And only drinking when I make him. I have an appointment for him tomorrow. I sure hope whatever is bothering Mia and any other dog passes swiftly.

Hope Mia is ok n ow. It's terrible when a pet gets sick, but I'm sure she'll be up and running around very soon.
Hugs and kisses from Auntie Cheryl and Jack.

Tinka is sick now too. :( She is throwing up and her stool was pretty soft this morning - definitely not normal. She is such a pig that I don't think she would ever lose her appetite.

This morning she (along with her cohorts) got into the cat food and of course she threw that up before long.

I'm not going to feed her this morning - she is going to be one unhappy little girl. I feel so mean doing it but it's what she needs. At least she has been drinking water this a.m.
