Orijen?

Its made from 70% protien , 30% fruits, vegis, and botanicals and 0% grain and fillers. They use to feed this food to dogs with cancer cause the ingredients were protien rich and was all natural and low carb. They have canned food too and puppy food.

A friend of mine works for the distribution company, and they have started selling it to the public, so I decided to try it.
I got Emma the puppy food, called 6 fish, it does have cranberries in it but it is not affecting her tear stains and apparently this food is very very good for dogs with allergies. I have already noticed Emma is less itchy.

Apparently with this food you feed way less then you would normal food and there poop wont smell and will be smaller. It also is suppose to make their breath not smell and their coats will be very shiny and bueatiful. It is suppose to be as close to raw as you can get, has everything that dogs would eat naturally in the wild.

When I looked at the ingredients I was very impressed.

So I just wanted to share my find with you, my dogs all love it and the cat is even trying to eat their food which he never did before.

And I havnt cleaned Emmas eyes in 2 days and there hasnt been any tear stains appearing. YaY!

Haven't heard of it, but thanks for the info. Where is this company located? Do they have a web site to check it out? Keep us informed on how Emma is doing on it.

there are a couple distributors, if you type in Orijens dog food on a google search, there are 2-3 websites you can order from.

Thanks, I will give it a look. I change Jack's food every 3 months for variety.

When my kids were on the raw I would suppliment them with Orijen. It's an excellent food but just keep in mind it's high in protein. If you have a liver compromised dog it's not a good choice. :(

Besides I cook for my yorkie and maltese, I give them also Orijen dog food recently. It's by far a very good one if I may say but yesss it's high of protein!!! That's why I combine them with home cooking food.

So far, my maltese has no tear stain at all!!! He used to have tear stain due to the dog foods I fed him and that is the reason why I cook for them.
