Toby Graduated

Well, today was our last day of the Advanced Training Level 1.........and my little man made me proud. Not once during the whole session did he even growl at one dog.........everyone was amazed. They all called him the yorkie with the Napolian complex!!! But he was wonderful and one of the bigger does he had real aggression issues with before was behind him within a foot of each other and they both behaved marvelously. So onward and upward.......he is enrolled in Advanced Training Level 2 which involves a lot of hand commands and off leash. I worked him off leash today and he did really good. He just amazes me. The trainer's daughter who also does training said she has never seen such a well behaved YORKIE!!! I was beaming from ear to ear!

But with everyone knowing how aggressive Toby "was" they all were so happy to see the improved attitude........I think most were as happy as me!

Oh I loved all over him and made a "huge" deal out of his good behavior. I will be sure to pick up some special treat for him tonight!

Mia's mom has taken in a maltese rescue but she is unable to keep her and so I am going to Miami on Friday to take a look at the sweet little thing and if she clicks with my pack, we will be bringing her home with us. She is roughly 2 1/2 years old (always a guess with a rescue) and a little bit bigger than Maggie's Mia.

I'll post on the forum pictures and the decision!

She missed Week 3 due to rain (or so Marco thought...turns out they WOULD call if the class was cancelled...but I missed the first class, so ...now I know) and then there was no class this week due to Canada Day. Next Monday is the last class and the week after is the evaluation.

You are as sharp as a tack..............I'm going to go ahead and redo my siggy right now. I am like those DNA tests for parternity........99.999999% sure she will be coming home with us. :) :)

They just skipped a week...made the course longer...so we didn't miss out of this week really..it just got postponed. This course is only 6 weeks instead of the 8 weeks her other courses were.

Carol and Toby....way to go!!!! Jack knew 'da man' would do just fine.

Although Jack is happy that Buffy is finding a new home, he is quite certain that his b-i-l would really like a brother to play with. Tooooooo many girls!!!!! But, Jack loves his Kallie, so another girl is ok. Jack thinks if Toby ever needs to get away from all the sisters, he can chill out at our house. Mommy is the only female in this family.:D
