Buffie or Buffy

Well, we are embarking on adopting a new little girl from Maggie who took her in when her previous owners did not want her. :( :(........so we are going down tomorrow to meet her and see Maggie and her family again!

So we have already picked out a name for the little girl (thinking positive) and wondered about the spelling so thought I would do a poll. Don't really think it matters to the hubby how I spell it, just so we call her Buffy/Buffie.

So the poll is all about how to spell the name. I have Kallie (ie) and a Toby (y) and a Brandy (y)..........but here's the thing. Kallie was our very first maltese and first rescue so should I just let her be with the "ie" at the end to keep her special or should I even out the names and use the "ie" with the new little girl??? Then I would have a Kallie, Buffie, Brandy, Toby.

Or maybe Buffy looks better than Buffie...............1101211013

I voted for Buffy ... my grandmother used to have a dog named Buffy with it spelled like that. ;) But I do have to admit, at first glance, it does make me think of Buffy the Vampire Slayer... lol.

I liked Buffie, the other did remind me of Buffy the vampire. I like "ie" better than "y" anyway.
