Dog thief gets stiff sentence from judge....

A while back a Pom puppy was dog napped from a pet store in the Chicago area. It turned out the young man (19 yrs. old) was paid by 2 employees of the store to do it and he was suppose to turn the pup over to them. Well, they all got caught, the pup returned to the store and has since gone to its new home.
In the newspaper today it stated that the young man was smoking pot and blowing the smoke into the pups face until it passed out!!!!!
The judge was so enraged and gave him a very stiff sentence.

I hope more judges hand down stiff sentences to people who are so cruel to any animal.

I agree, if there was stiffer laws maybe animal cruelty would not happen as much.

A warped mind, is just that, a warped mind. And in being so warped they won't think about the reactions to their actions or the punishment either. I don't think 98% of criminals of any type think about the punishment that can come their way. :mad:

I am thankful for Judges like this one though. May he have many days on the Bench.

Well glad to hear that there is at least one judge that accepts his responsibility to see that justice is done on behalf of the helpless. More judges should alm it to the criminals and maybe the world could be just a wee bit better.
