Well, Lola goes in tomorrow to get spayed. Hopefully everything will go fine with no problems, but I am a little concerned. She is a pit bull and she does great here with me and the other fluffs, but away from me and around other dogs and people she does not know, she gets scared and will snap and growl. I have been told that this hospital that she is going to is great with pit bulls. I don't tolerate anyone hitting or being mean to any of my dogs for whatever reason and I hate putting her in a situation where she feels threatend or scared. Yes, I am extremely overprotective of her. Her mom was killed because she was a pit bull and I hate the bad rap that these dogs get.

Please keep her in your prayers that all goes well and there are no problems.

Well, I hope all goes well for Lola and that there are no problems. If they specialize in pit bulls, I am sure they are aware of any precautiions they need to take because she may be fearful and react to her unfamiliar surroundings. If she shows any aggression because she is scared, they will probably just give her something to mellow her out and then do the spaying.

I am sure she will be glad to see you when you pick her up!!!! Poor baby.:( I will certainly keep her in my thoughts and prayers that all goes well and she has a speedy recovery.

I think she will be ok.:)

Many times when a dog is like that, they do fine in a situation like at a vets office. The owner isn't around and the dog doesn't feel like it has to protect anyone, so mellows out a bit.

She won't be there very long before she is sedated and afterwards, she will still be a bit groggy and won't feel like snapping at anyone. :)

Keep us updated on her tomorrow!

We are back from the vet and Lola's surgery was fine. She is home and resting. She is still throwing up but after what she went through today, I would be doing that as well. She is resting in my bed as we speak so hopefully she will start feeling better soon. I also took my brother's Jack Russel Terrier to get neutered and he is doing great and also one of Lola's sister and so far she is doing great.

As for me, I have a headache bigger than Texas that will not go away.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and your prayers.

We Love you all!

I'm so glad to hear that Lola did so well today and that she is at home safe and recovering!!! Poor baby having to throw up is hard on the stomach muscles.........give her hugs from me.

Wow, three dogs at one time........you are very very brave indeed!!!!

I dread the day I take Buffy in to be spayed and for her dental.........I'm waiting to get my car back from the repair shop.......then I'll make her appointment and be a nervous mommy like you!:(
