Adoption?

Hello,

I am new to this forum, but I desperately need information...

Here's the story: I have owned a male Maltese in the past that was given by a family member; however, he passed away six months ago. I am now looking for another Maltese companion to adopt, but I don't know where to start.

I live in and around Houston. Where should I start looking?

I would go to www.americanmaltese.org and go to the breeder link. Go by state and look under Texas. They would be one of your best bets in finding your baby.

Hi Danii, sorry for the loss of your boy maltese and I'm sure you miss him. But I am so glad that you are willing to adopt another to love. The rescues may be able to help you out there in finding another. If not there are breeders in Texas that you can do a search for to find.

Welcome to MT. Sorry for your loss. We had a male maltese for 12 years and it was so sad when we lost him. We adopted a 4 month old male maltese last Sept. and we just love him. Check all your shelters in your area and I found ours on petfinder.com. Good luck and be patient. It took me over 3 months to find Jack.
