Hey everyone! I see all these cute posed pictures that you take of your babies all dressed up! HOW DO YOU DO IT?? I cannot get Mia to sit still for a picture! I tried to groom her today and put her in a little outfit because she is 3months today! And it DID NOT work! It was a hastle getting her brushed and trying to put a topknot in was an even bigger struggle! I cant get her to sit still for a picture! Did your babies do the same thing? How do you get them to sit still? I wanted a puppy that would be prissy and mellow, will she grow out of all her hyperness?

Krystal, it's not easy for me. Out of 20 pics maybe 1 will turn out. I think teaching them the sit and stay command is important. I have LB sit on command, then I tell her to stay. I have a treat in my hand and have her look at my hand and take her photo. You may have to see what works for you and Mia. Sometimes all you have to do is take tons of pictures and pick which ones you like, times like these digital cameras are the best to have.

I only get a still picture if I put Chloe on a table or something. Even then...she usually looks away or closes her eyes..:fainted:.

The most important command is SIT and STAY , bribes also work . My 4 are expert models but because Arabella is a wriggly puppy , I place her in something . These are my all time favorite puppy photos . Sarah

I agree, the SIT and STAY command are most important, without that you really don't have much luck. Sarah has 4 babies to photograph at once and I have 3, so I need them to SIT and STAY, then I use treats and make funny sounds for them to look straight at me. I find that works for us.
Good Luck
P.S cute photos Sarah :D

Ok, Chloe knows sit and stay. But how do you get them to not look away the moment I snap the pic or close their eyes!! ARGH! Every pic I take of chloe she closes her eyes. If I use treats she gets so excited that she will cover her face and wag her tail like "I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE'S WAVING A TREAT IN MY FACE AND MAKING ME SIT HERE!!" :tongue7:

Since the day I got Kallie .. she was obsessed with the camera. The second she hears the beep of it turn on, she will run from anywhere in the house, and sit infront of me & pose. I have no trouble getting pictures of her at all, as you can see. I don't even have to say sit or stay or offer treats haha alll i say is smile and she tilts her head & sits there until I am done ! hahaha It works out great ! :)
So I am not much help in suggesting what to do, sorry !

haha... out of 100+ pictures, i usually get 1 or 2 halfway decent ones.
sit and stay they do, but looking AT the camera and NOT making horrible faces are things they're not so good at.
:tongue3:
