View Full Version : Cassy-Ann Got a Haircut

Cassy-Ann's coat was driving me nuts with getting matts. I got them all out( thanks to using pantene conditioner spray), but I was having to comb her like 5-6 times a day and I just don't have the time with 3 skin kids, hubby and house to run.
So while she is going throught her change of coat I thought I would just clip her off and stop all the fussing. It's hair and it grows back.

Oh!!! She is just adorable with her new hair cut. Jasper is going this week to get his done. He has too many matts and I have been trying but he just does not want to participate, so off it will come.

P.S. Don't tell Carol that I am having him cut! :D

I promise I won't tell Carol :D

Once he is cut back you can start over again, you will be glad you did it in the end. Cassy-Ann is a pleasure to groom, its just that I don't have the time to deal with the matts while she is changing her coat, so this is easier for me to manage. Like I said " It grows back"

Make sure you post pic of Jasper after his new haircut.

Bek, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the third and fourth picture of Cassy-Ann.........such sweetness. She is lovely long or short. I don't care if you cut her or if anyone else cuts there furbabies.........I am just one of those that LOVE the long hair look. But I have Kallie and Brandy in shorter cuts now and Toby and Buffy in the long cut . . . . . . . different coats can make the difference in keeping it long or short, the time available for grooming, the number of dogs you have to groom, their cooperation, etc. I would never be upset or be critical of anyone for cutting their pup's hair..........but I do love the long look. JMO (xoxoxox)

Just keep reminding me of how cute they look with short hair after I get him cut and I am crying like a baby. :lol2::lol2::lol2:

You'll only cry for a couple of days until you get use to it and then he will be just as cute!! You'll see!! I almost died the first time I cut kallie..........went from 14 inches to three and I thought :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:..........well, I was upset to say the least but then after a while I was fine with it. I have never let her grow to 14 inches again. She is happier in a shorter do!

Bek, she is such a beautiful girl! She looks gorgeous no matter what! She can never make any haircut look bad. I love that last photo of her:hearter:

I bet Cassy Ann loves her new hair cut. I like the shi tzu in short coat. Not easy to keep up with a long coat. The hair is thicker than the Maltese.

They have a double coat, so it is really full and flowing. I do love them in long coat, but while her coat is changing this is easier. WE are going away at the end of Oct for 3wks so I will clip her off before I leave. My house sitter will only have to brush her head and tail ever other day then.
