So I made the decision to visit this specific breeder in the future that's website is called "riges maltese" So all was going swimmingly until i just happend to have another maltese breeder's website open too, called aria maltese. I started to read "contact us" on both pages, simply by chance. They BOTH say the exact same thing. They also repeat eachother under the "puppies" section. Here are the links to both of the websites:
http://www.rijesmaltese.com/
http://www.ariamaltese.com/
I'm sorry but this struck me as just plain weird. Can anyone explain this? Or maybe they're the same thing ok no thats not right. Now i'm just messing up my head here.

I have a very good friend that is good friends with Jeanne of Rijes Maltese. If I speak with her tomorrow I will ask her about this. If the websites are build by the same webmaster, they set the sites up alike. I do the same when I build websites for people. If they say that they want a basic Maltese Site they normally get set up the same. Unless they tell me something specific they want.
I highly recommend Jeanne Haley of Rijes. She is a wonderful breeder that is extreamely dedicated to our breed. :hearter:

What a great observation and good question to ask!!! We're going to have to start calling you sharp eyes!!! I might not even have noticed that. Good job on your search for a good breeder!!! I know you will have your new furbaby in no time.
And thanks Becky and Maggie for helping her out and resolving her questions!!

mia's mommy is right! both breeders are excellent. you cant go wrong. both websites are done by the same person thats why the information is very much the same.

Yh i really wanted a maltese, but we might still visit a maltese breeder. He wants one because we saw some very VERY young pups on the street being sold that were bichon frise, well he asked them wat breed ect, and he said don't you want a pup that looks just like picha? (my old stuffed animal dog from when i was like 5) plus he has some reasons like the barking, them being so small (he doesnt want to hurt them with his giantic feet ect) stuff like that... *sigh* maybe one day when i'm older i can finally get one... :(

Oh, don't give up on the Maltese. Tell your dad you will get one on the larger side. My Jack is a big boy and he is rough and tough. He is not a big barker either. You just have to work with them.
Nothing against BF's, our friends had one for many years, but that poor thing had bad allergies and she was always gnawing at her paws. That is one thing common with the BF. I know alot of breeds can have allergies, Maltese included, but do your research and really make your pitch for the Maltese.
