I used them many many years ago and they were a waste of money...I have not tried them since.

I don't use flea and tick collars, Jack gets his coverage for them along with his heartworm in his Revolution that is put on the 1st of the month. It comes in a little tube and I put it on between his shoulder blades on his back.

My vet told me they are worthless.
Tinka had a horrid experience with one and I will NEVER ever use one again. She almost had seizures... shook for an hour and lost control of her bowels and bladder... it was awful.
You are supposed to keep it on rather loosely and she got it stuck in her mouth - just for a few seconds.
I've tried them on larger dogs, too and they don't do much.
I've mentioned before the Flea Treats I've been using .... they have worked wonderfully. Five dogs and no fleas... one tick early on in the season. I'm sold on them...:D

I have never used them. I just use Frontline Plus on my dogs.

Flea collars are highly dangerous...Aside from the fact that they are collars, if the dog even licks it, he/she could end up with several problems including seizures.
