This is sad and a bit scarey! A dog got its tongue caught in a paper shreader. The owner was nearby thank goodness and rushed her dog (larger dog) to the vet and they stitched his tongue up but they showed some pretty graphic pictures of his poor little tongue before they stitched it. It looked horrible. I think sometimes we just don't realize how dangerous our house can be to our furbutts! But the dog will be absolutely fine!!! So the story ends on the good side!

Oh good gosh, how horrible. Imagine if the owner didn't get to him so fast.

I always try to be so careful, as do my children. My biggest worry is one of the boys may leave a peice of lego laying around or something like that.

My furbabies can't get upstairs unless we open the gate and the kids always check the floors, but still I double check.
