Puppy Grooming...

Am I being mean grooming Babe just prior to the time he will be napping? I find it difficult (a fight w/ his teeth) to groom him when he is awake. I consider this time preparing him for bed--massage/full grooming session. He is easy to groom...seems to know it's me...and relaxes...seems to enjoy it.

Also, as a novice how do I begin his topknot?

not mean at all... smart!
usually i groom my kids in the afternoon when they are down and exhausted
keeps them throwing fits at me

but today i decided it is too cold even in my house
so i took all 4 to the groomers :D

I think grooming before bed time is fine, if it relaxes him then all the better. I can't groom LB during the day, there is too much action going on and all she wants to do is play with her big sister. I find grooming her at night works for both of us.
