My Little Loving Kelsey

I know this is for our loving maltese that have passed but Kallie is my first maltese. But this little girl, Kelsey, was so very special to me in so many ways. She was my eveything and was there for me when I needed her..........and with the passing of Chloe from down under and feeling their loss, tears of sadness filled my eyes remembering the loss of my dear little girl Kelsey. I wanted to share with you what a beautiful girl she was at 12 1/2 years old. She passed April 30, 2004......and still very much missed. She was a miniature Austrailian Shepherd mix. She was so sweet . I lost my Maltese x shih tzu Tess 3 years ago she was killed age 13 by the 5 year old next door neighbour , Tess was perfectly healthy when she died her pups are about to turn 16 ( all my friends own them ) . Oliver my shih tzu died aged 15 , 2 months after his sweet sister of a broken heart ( on my birthday ) . Sarah

Yes the passing of Chloe has made the memories flow back I agree. My MIL's Bichon passed late July 06 at 12 yrs of age.

I adored him and he is the reason I have Scrappy today. I owe Friskie a lot.

I sobbed at his passing as I sobbed at Chloe's as the painful memories of Friskie's sudden passing flooded back.

What is it about dog's? They seem to clasp our hearts in their paws the minute we are introduced and not let go even in death.

Sarah I am also so sorry, you take such wonderful care of your babies, you must be so proud.
Chloe's passing was a shock to me:( I still can't believe it. I just hope she is with Lady now and happy and at peace with no pain..

Beautiful dogs Sarah............how sad Oliver passed so soon after his sister, a double whammy! I don't know how you made it though that time! Somehow we manage. But the tears are so easy to flow again when you think of the loss..........I love my present babies but still have that love for Kelsey deep in my heart! And I certainly do not look forward to that time as my present babies age!! I try hard not to think about it!

MORE than you know. She was my literal "lifesaver" when going through some of the tuffest times of my life! She was a gem of a girl and I still cry seeing her pics.........she's been gone now almost three years. Thanks!!!!

Sarah, may I ask how your 5yr old neighbour killed your Tess????, What did he/she do to her :( . Was it an accident???

I cannot even express my sorrow for all these furbabies and you mommies.
I know too what it is like to lose a pet of 12 yrs and one of 11 1/2 months.
The pain is the same in alot of ways.
Chloe's passing is still in my mind many days and makes me think of everyone here who has had to go thru their pup leaving.
I'm glad I found this place, it gives our furbabies a place to live on..Hugs to all.

Carol, I just wanted to say your Kelsey looks so sweet. I had a collie for 12 yrs. Its been 10yrs since she's gone ( I still get upset too) but she grew up w/ my kids and your Kelsey reminds me of her, the sweet face.

Thanks, Lisa...........she was sweet from the inside out!!! THE PERFECT baby! And she was a crossbreed mutt..............but THE best dog!! Smart and loving! She will always have a place in my mind and my heart!!!:heart5:
